he is already 41, i doubt it. but whos gonna smash Wlad up, he never fights power punchers who can also pressure him. Wlad hates pressure fighters, his brother is the one that deals with them. Vitali hates slick fast fighters with good head movement so Wlad deals with them.
Wladimir fought Brewster, Peter and Haye. But I am sure that you're going to say that they can't bring pressure.
In effect the Klitschko's duck certain types of fighters? It's ok so long as one Klitschko beats them? Not how boxing works....
yes and they caused him the most trouble, brewster and peter ever since he hasnt fought any pressure fighters, he tries to avoid them. if he had fought guys like chosora and charr, he wouldnt have looked so good, i think he may have gassed out. He doesnt also like fighters with heart, vitali deals with them. Haye isnt a pressure fighter, he rushes in throws some shots and then jumps out,and he was mostly running against wlad Wlads style doesnt work well against pressure fighters, that are at your face all the time. Wlad has been looking good lately because he has been fighting bums.
I really doubt that it works like that for them. However when someone losses in modern boxing, they also lose a lot of credit and stock. If a top contender is defeated by a champion/belt holder, he is not likely to be first in the line to get a title shot against someone else. Kessler and Calzaghe also split the contenders between them, but the Klitschko brothers just can't fight it out to decide who is alpha.
We would maybe have seen 2 or 3 fights between them. My bet is Vitali would have ruined Wlad horribly and he would have retired years ago, leaving Vitali to dominate and maybe be retired himself by now.
He struggled against Peter and Brewster the first time he fought them, he destroyed them both the 2nd time.. Sure they were probably lesser fighters the 2nd time around. Outside of those two, the best HWs of this era have not been pressure fighters. Champers, Haye, Chagaev, bums? Klitschko haters claims that the brothers are beating the **** out of talentless fat bums, if it weren't for the brothers, the belts would change hands between the worse HW champs of all time (according to that logic). Anywho, it may be more entertaining to have belts changing hands, but having an elite champion (having two is kind of dull, I agree) dominating is also satisfying.
when i said bums i meant recently, but vitali has avoided the slick type of fighters that can frustrate like, chambers, but i know he was injured n 2005, but since comming back, he hasnt fought one fighter like these. he has fought the guys that could cause Wlad problems stylistically.
