In my opinion, Wladimir hits much harder than Vitali and, if he was unable to KO Peter with so many hard straight rights and left hooks, then how in the hell can Vitali possibly do it? Thoughts?

Peter dropped Wlad 3 times...but Wlad was saved by bell when he was most hurt. There is a good chance VK doesnt have the youth or conditioning his brother has and when Peter drops him he may not be able to survive the rest of the round or he may get dropped early in a round unlike his brother...

Good point altough Wlad is more of a boxer and Vit is more of a intelligent brawler

    1. Vitali's and Wlad's power is almost the same.

    2. Peter's style has changed. The perception everyone had of him has also changed.

    3. 1 + 1 = 2 doesn't work in boxing.

He only dropped him once with a legal punch , the other two should have never been counted since peter basically clubbed wlad on the back of his head and pushed him until he fell.

Incredibly easy answer. Vitali doesn't fight scared like Wlad does. Wlad is brutal and gets the job done, but he is content to wait until he damages opponents enough to get the knockout.

Vitali goes for the knockout all the time.

    There is your difference.

Vitaly doesn't have anywhere near the power that Wladimir has, you just need to check out how many one punch knockouts he's had in his career.

Wladimir hits fast and quickly retracts his arm. The idea is to hit fast and get back into defense. He really doesn't follow through with his punches anymore, but when he does, they can really be nasty. Look at the Brock and Thompson KO's. He followed through with both those KO punches and both guys were DOA when the hit the mat. Vitali on the other hand, really tries hard to drive his fist through whatever his hits. Vitali's blows to me are much more damaging and can have much worst long term effect on the recipient than Wlad's punches. To sum it up, Wlad has flash KD power that leads to TKO's, but can deliver the KO punch when he's ready.Vitali on the other hand has massive deep tissue hurting power, that breaks guys up and ultimately leads to either a KO or TKO.

That is just wrong. They are simply different.

Wlad would have never been in a position to get hurt against Byrd. And he most likely wouldn't have been in a position to get cut against Lennox (because he doesn't brawl like Vitali).

But the opposite is also true. Vitali would have never shot his load against Purrity or Brewster or been caught by Sanders.

    They are different fighters.

You're really reaching if you say "anywhere near" when in fact Vitali could be the harder puncher. You don't really know who is.

It is a fact Vitali has faced lesser although similar opposition and knocked almost every single one of them out.
