Ward will beat Kovalev and these maggots will cry about some dumb **** and make 40 post in one night about it. Then Abel Sanchez old hating ass will say some slick **** and GGG fans will run with it like God himself said it and talk about how better GGG is over Kovalev and how it could never happen to him, blah, blah, blah, blah.
So long as both fighters come into the fight healthy and give a good showing of their skills then yeah. Ward has the resume to be p4p best with the current mix but the only thing preventing it is his long layoff. Nobody is going to give it to him for beating a Barrera but Kovalev is more than good enough for Ward to show us he still has it. That's of course with how it stands now. You also have to take into consideration what the other p4p fighters do up to that point as well.
Yes. But not just if Ward beats Kovalev. It works in reverse, too, if Kovalev beats Ward. For me the winner of this bout takes that prize, be it Andre or Sergey. :smoke
It would definitely be the biggest win in boxing for a long time But is ONE gigantic win enough to see a guy who's done absolutely nothing since the Super 6 become P4P#1? :think
That is a very good summary. I feel the same way. Kovalev is very good, but, there are still some question marks about him. And, Ward is way to inactive to evaluate lately. (Barrera was awful). This fight will tell us a lot.
Exactly the way I see it. It's a 2 way street. This in my opinion is the best fight that can happen this year.
