    Then what next?

No-one to beat at Super Middleweight. Move up and face Hopkins and/or Dawson?

    Limited options?

Move up. He could dominate the light heavy division when he clears 168 out.

He'd have to hope one of the top prospects emerges as a real threat over the next 12 months...lots of them (Periban, Groves, Maderna, DeGale, Estrada, etc)

I'm not sure Ward is big enough for the LHW division.

I think Ward could do enough size wise at LHW to trouble slim Hopkins or unknown quantity Dawson.

craigseventy raises an interesting prospect in Dirrell. Froch may have controversially beat him but he offers everything that Froch doesn't i.e everything that troubles him - speed, movement - the problem being current physical/mental health?

If dirrell comes back in good fashion, for me the fight has to happen or it's going to leave a question mark on wards career, he should have fought him already but for one reason or another it hasn't and I think that its a interesting fight and a winnable one for dirrell. People talking about ward moving up already are being very premature.

It's only a matter of time before Froch, Bute, Ward & Dirrell move up to 175lbs. They'll eventually join Dawson and Pascal for more entertaining fights.

I honestly don't know, it depends on a lot of things. How dirrell comes back for one. I think dirrell gives ward his toughest test yet though for sure. I think it would be a fairly boring cautious fight that could go either way, a real 50/50 but i'd have to think about it more. Its just a fight that personally i'd like to see because i'd like to see how ward hadles dirrell. He's fought, miranda, abraham, kessler, froch who are all really good but dirrell fetches a completly different set of problems. You say there's only bute left but in my opinion there's bute and dirrell and then nobody can say ****, hes cleaned out the division for me.

Cellz831 man your right, damm bro you been on it lately. Beat Bute ,

Sergio, then Lt Hw. If Ward does he could be the man really from mw to

lt hw because he's really a pumped up mw fighting at s mw and he could

be a Paul Williams like guy who can fight in three divisons easy, and thats

all he would have in common with Paul before any **** gets started

As a huge Bute fan he would have my utmost respect

if this were to happen Id say rematch if close, if its the same fashion as Froch then no

he could draw up Martinez, Chavez Jr who is a big middle, Sturm or move up to a deep 175
