    Not necesary in that order:
    1.Manny 2.SRL 3.Nard 4.Hagler 5.Fluid 6.Duran 7.Whitaker 8.RJJ 9.Lenox 10. Joe C
Think about it this way, guys like Oscar, Mosley,JMM,Morales,Holyfield,Toney or Tyson not even in top 10, where would you have Ward? He's right where he belongs, he needs the win with Kovalev to be on par with Sven Ottke:deal

The pascal and Hopkins his beaten aren't near their prime whereas Froch was still quite a dominate fighter when ward schooled him

It's not about loving one fighter or another, is about acknowledge greatness. Manny is #1 because he is the only 8 division champion, not because I love him or dislike SRL, or Mayweather or whoever you name

Why? What Kovalev like victory does Ottke have on his resume?

The winner of that fight will be p4p number 1. Ward will be a hall of famer. Kovalev will be very close to a hof. Ward hurt his chances at all time great because he wasted a lot of time recently. But hof for either man is still Great.

Are you seriously comparing Glen Johnson to Sergei Kovalev? Are you being serious or just taking the ****?

Manny did come from 106 pounds. He knocked out prime Barrera with ease. Defeated prime Marquez. Knocked out Morales. Destroyed Cotto, Margarito, Hatton and Ledwaba. He's certainly a great fighter worthy of the top spot. Though Duran is greater.

Sven Ottke beaten Johnson almost 15 years before Johnson competed in the semifinals of Super 6, the tournament that made Ward who he is. Either Super 6 was utterly **** or this was a great win for Ottke, there's no other way around this

Wards already a atg & he's the best of his generation already & a win over kov will basically make him mythical especially if he decisively beats him

He had names like miranda, kessler, green, bika, adraham, dawson & froch on his resume before the age of 30 thats atg level already especially the way he beat those guys

I dont want to here you or these boxing know it alls breakdown the level of those name or how drained dawson was he challenged the best SMW in the at 168 he got what he asked for.

Right now sure you can nit pick but when its all said & done all those names will be evaluated accessed & be determined as respected wins for ward & if he goes on to beat kov & other top lhw like stevenson beterbev & the other guys he will be arguable top 30 level atg overall probably even as high as top 20.

    1. Because Johnson competed in the semifinals of the Super 6, that puts him on the same level of Kovalev?
    2. More importantly than number 1, within the 2 years leading up to the Ottke loss, Johnson lost 3 times, including to Hopkins by stoppage. Then, immediately AFTER Ottke, Johnson lost 3 of his 4 next fights.
I'm still trying to understand your point of putting Johnson on Kov's level, because ALL of the evidence indicates that's he's not even close to being on Kov's level. You are taking the ****, aren't you?
