To my UK fan who hate Ward, should he still be B side of negotiations with your favorite fighters even though he is p4p number 1?

    Assuming Floyd loses of course

Well, Ward wouldn't be #1 for very long as his one year of inactivity quickly approaches in November.

Ward is about to drop out of the lists due to inactivity. He hasn't fought a top guy for a long time and I don't rate his win over a drained Chad Dawson too much either. It's not looking good for Ward who is an amazing fighter.

Despite being drained to high hell (first fight below LHW in 6 years), Dawson was coming off the Hopkins win and was lineal champ at LHW. You can't just dismiss the win entirely. It's sort of like if Omar Narvaez dropped back down to 112 and lost to Roman Gonzalez, that would still be a quality victory for Roman.

Ward doesn't even belong in the top 5. Really he doesn't belong on the list at all. His last meaningful fight was 2 years ago and he's had only 1 fight since! Guys a joke.

I don't dismiss the win entirely btw, it's still pretty good. I would say though, with Roman's fight night weight of 124lbs, the quality of the win will be compromised somewhat. :p
