AC is a **** hole, ask yourself....would it have been ok if Froch fought every fight in nottingham? then the final in London? or would you have made jokes about the lack of passport?

Probably wouldn't have cared, just liek I didn't care that 2 of Wards 3 fights were in Oakland. The other was in LA with a huge Armenian population, not entirely hostile ground for Abraham that was. And again I repeat that Froch knew the final would be in America. It could be any combo of Froch/Abraham/Kessler and the final would still be in America, Brittard.

No, it was a neutralish venue (Oakland is in the same state as LA but not close if you know anything about geography) that probably favored Ward, but Abraham had good support. Ethnic pride is very strong in the Armenian community which is especially large in the LA area to any fight with an Armenian fighter is going to draw support for them. Just like any fight with a Polish fighter gets them a good crowd in/near Chicago or North New Jersey. The finals should be at a neutral venue IN THE UNITED STATES (because the Super Six stipulates that it will be held in the USA). AC is pretty much the best choice available then, lord knows if it was Vegas you'd be throwing a hissy fit about how close that is to California.

like i said, its unfair if the gren bay packers play an entire season at home, ward has also had every single advantage possible throughout the tournament, he got gifted a win when Dirrell pulled out too.

 such a try-hard Brittard. This would be like the Packers getting to play 2 of 3 games at home and then one at a neutral site where there fans can show up fairly readily but won't be the absolute majority. Not his fault Dirrell and "Dr. Shaw-Hi" told him to pull out.

the fact is ward has been given many advantages in this torny, you can argue the significance of them but they are still advantages, personally i always expected the final to happen in vegas

The Falklands has how many people? According to Wikipedia there are 3,140 people there.

Gibraltar is better, with 30,000 people according to Wikipedia. also, it isn't 3000 miles away from Froch's hometown.

Atlantic City has a population of 39,000 in the immediate city and a total population of 274,000 living in the greater metro area. Add in the Rail lines and highways from NYC and Philadelphia... you get the picture.

But try again, 3000 miles away from Nottingham, in the UK with a population and facilities that can hold the fight. Chop Chop.

well done, you've established the uk is smaller than the us by the use of wikipedia, genius. how does that change the fact that a us fighter fighting in the us is at an advantage?

Explain how it's an advantage for Ward in this situation.

They just want something to complain about when Ward breaks his foot off in Carl's ass.

he's in his home country, he'l have more support, and preferential media coverage. all of which influence judges opinions....as much as we'd like to think it doesn't.

its also uncomfortable being in a foreign country, foreign food, foreign people.... it's stressful, and will put froch at a very slight disadvantage, which, in a fight this close could make the difference...

    that answer your q?

A.C is more than a 7 hr. plane ride from Oakland. Ward is not a national star. Pretty much all of his support is based in the bay area. He fought Abraham in Southern Cali(about a 3 hr. drive from Northern Cali) and Abraham had more crowd support. I doubt Ward will have much in the way of crowd support in this fight.

Normally you would be right, but Froch is an Englishman traveling to America. There's no language barrier. And because this is such a diverse country, he can still get many of the same foods as he could get in the U.K. However, considering how much better the food is here, I would bet that he would prefer our food anyway. Both of these guys are going to have to get on a plane and stay in a hotel. What's you're forgetting though is that Froch actually fought in A.C in his very last fight. He's probably more familiar with the surroundings, and may even have more crowd support in the fight.

    Not really.
