Will people treat them with same level of respect they get now?

If Dirrel loose to Ward, Dirrel is out of the tourney.

Dirrell should rather fight Bute or Kessler or even Stieglitz, Sartison, Bika, Andrade anyway, they will KTFO him and solve that hypejob issue once and for all.

The disappointment would be in Ward more so than Dirrell...
For the reason that overall I feel AW had this tourney in the bag.

I don't think many people will feel any different than they feel right now about either.

Doubt if either drops out - but if they did - I'm pretty sure HBO would welcome Andre Ward with open arms. Then we'll see Ward/Bute - so it's not a bad idea. I would rather see them finish the Super Six - but wouldn't mind seeing this fight either.

If they decline to fight eachother, which i still find hard to believe, it would be extremely unprofessional and both of their images would take a major hit. I would certainly not be respectful of it and i think many fans and media-members with me. They would be looking at some big-time damage control in their careers.

Ward is not pulling out. If anyone is pulling out then it's dirrell and it won't affect the tourney really. It will just mean you can crown ward the S6 champ because dirrell is the only one with more than a puncher's chance to beat him.

If dirrell pulls out because he isn't getting a fair shake going into ward's hometown then I would be fine with that as long as he calls out bute.

It would make the division better as a whole if bute had to really face someone instead of sitting on the sideline fighting bums until his free pay day with the S6 winner. If he can beat dirrell then he really deserves it. He hasn't beaten anyone but Bika and he's a B level fighter. I don't think he can beat dirrell and i think dirrell would make him look ordinary.
