Dirrell claims its to do with money which was agreed before the fight.
Neither wants the fight in the others home town, so Ward has agreed to a neutral venue.

Ward who has had the first 2 fights in his home town refuses to fight in Dirrells home town and Dirrell because it seems hes looking for an excuse not to meet Ward.

Dirrell more so than Ward because at least Ward is saying he will meet Dirrell. Dirrell would be on the same money whoever he fights in the super 6 it was agreed before the super 6 that if you lose your on less than if you win, so would get the same if he fights AA again next

lets not forget that for now, all hometown fighter have won, so in this tourney it is relevant and I can understand everyone wondering why Ward should have two fight at home and not Dirrell.

And boxing is a business, so the contract they signed will, I'm sure, be respected and if the money was thought through I dont see it being different than what they already signed.

So if theirs any problems, its the fault of Showtime.

hahahaha This is too funny. Please break down where these guys cheated and elaborate on your definition of having balls and pride. It was balls and pride that had dirrell fighting abraham in such a way that made abraham look like a flat out bum. He couldn't have made AA look that way by running and there was no cheating involved in that (on dirrell's side).

Ward just has that gameplan of coming in with his head against stiff fighters, to keep his opponent off balance and having something else to worry about. Against someone more active, ward will used somewhat of a shell defense coming out of it with sharp shots. As for the darting in with the hook, headbutt, right cross combo, Pascal used a variation of it in his fight against dawson and bhop is the one who made it popular this past decade. Ward does other things to and still people haven't come close to messin with it on the world class level. Just a gameplan and not exactly cheating. Still it gives a stalking opponent an ultimatem of backing up and getting hit or stand your ground and worry about my head as well as my quick hands. There is a style to beat this style but the guys ward has faced are not equiped to use it.

If cheat is what comes to your head when you think of dirrell and ward, then that says enough about your state of mind and thought process, for me to start to expect nothing but dumb ass post when I see you.

Why would they drop out? Ward is winning this mother****er. It might do him good to drop out and not fight the top fighters in the division as that tactic has seemed to work well for Bute who gets a ton of respect from this forum.

    They are smart.

Even smarter if just Dirrell drops out.

So what do you think of Ward being the only champion who's not willing to defend his will in another fighters hometown. Froch took his belt to Denmark, Kessler took his belt to Oakland, but Ward either wants a third fight at home or in a neutral venue. That is just flat out hypocritical.

By the way I cannot fault Dirrel for wanting this fight in Detroit. It should be in Detroit.
