If Ward or Dirrell do drop out of super six what will your view of them be?

Funny how this all happens when Dawson got exposed and they all see more cheese going to light heavyweight. Abraham should fight Ward for the Championship in that fake tournament where promoters control the judges. How Showtime did not demand an outside source to pick the judges is disturbing. we were so close to a great thing.
it still can be dope but Arthur and Ward are the cream of the crop in that group no?

Ward refused to fight in tournament unless he got all his fights in his home town. Dirrell faked an injury to get his fight in Detroit. Now, they both refuse to fight outside of their home towns. I think the fight will not happen.

Erh no... I think that Dirrel has a sensible chance of beating Ward and he already beat Abraham. Ward is the favorite to win, but anything could happen. The tourney is not over yet and no one can be crowned the best at SMW unless they win and possibly fight Bute.

My post was directed at the one poster who called dirrell ***** and Ward a cheat. I already discussed the venue matter prior to going directly at the guy. Just check on page 2 and you will see that I already said what you said.

As I already said. Dirrell is the only one with more than a puncher's chance to beat ward. Everyone else will be dominated for the most part.

Any of these guys would be dominant if all their fights were in their home town.First fair fight in this tournament is going to be Froch vs. Abraham. As for Ward,if he has to fight in the semi-final abroad(which everyone knows won't happen,he will pull out before it does)he will most likely lose.

I wouldn't be too sure of that. For obvious reasons we should assume that Ward handles Kessler if a rematch happens (*sigh* big Kessler fan here sad to admit this). I do however think it would be foolish to write of Froch and Abraham. They bring something different to the table and just because Kessler handed Froch a narrow loss and Dirrell manhandled Abraham does not mean that Ward will do the same.

I think that the thing is taking too long. And I said that from the start. I thought that people would start to drop out after A) losing or B) start getting offers and or interest for BIGGER better paying fights. You cant blame guys that have a very short career span for looking to make the most they can per fight, even if they made deals. Thing is people act as if these guys dont have lawyers, I promise you that every one of those guys have an out clause in thier deals. Plus I think that some of the fighters have lost alot of luster, and a fight with a 1-2 Froch or AA isnt what it was before this started and they were unbeatten fighters. I would like to see it finish but I understand a fighter wanting to pull out.

Ward fighting twice at home compares poorly to your hero Cokzaghe fighting 20 time in a row at home. Your not very bright. Dirrell should pull out and fight a true ATG like Ashira!

I based my reasons on what fighters do and not on who beat who. Who beat who doesn't matter because styles make fights (as we all know). I dont' feel that froch or abraham have the feet or speed to get ward off his head first gameplan. I think they just get reluctant after all the misses while being hit and it becomes a boring one sided fight. Ward will have to use something else to beat dirrell.

People lose. When I pick fight I envision what the people will do and how they will fight. True story is nobody in this forum predicted that fight to go the way it did. Not one person said that pascal would be running around, darting in with a variated BHOP style while Dawson would be the robotic stalker chasing looking like antonio tarver.

So yeah people picked him to win and some didn't. Still nobody predicted the fight to go in that manner and that threw all predictions off. The gameplan beat dawson before they got in the ring.

Well I don't think Ward can use that game plan against Abraham. He's quite happy behind that double guard of his waiting for the right moment to throw his punches. Froch on the other hand would eat a lot of leather, but he does not get flustered as easily as Kessler does. Froch will get his shot off even though he has to take a couple of punches himself. I'm not saying that Froch or Abraham are favorites, but these fights are not a foregone conclusion.

Like you say styles make fights :good

Froch and kessler were not dominant in thier home fights. Both were close. Ward's victories were dominant and AA's victory over taylor wasn't really all that dominant (it wasn't close tho). Dirrell was dominating AA for 8 rounds.

The reason for people not wanting to fight on the road is the superficial advantages. Like a crowd screaming unconditionally at the hometown fighter's punch attempts. Like in the froch dirrell fight when the loud crowd scream at all of froch's airball flurries confusing judges.
