if ward struggled against bika what about froch?

Bika's a tough fight for anyone.

Froch isn't.

Froch is a tall brawler with long arms...its impossible to look against these fighters. Ward has the speed to potshot a UD but he would have to use his inside game like he did vs Green, throwing single shots fromr ange, leaping in and holding. Ugly fight.

 

Froch is a midd range long range type of fighter.

 

I realy think that is the real question here. Even if Ward seems to have a pretty decent chin and stamina, I dont know if he can hurt Froch (or any elite 168) and it can be very bad for him if he cant. I guess we will see in the next couple of fights.

 

Froch isn't a brawler..... Pascal and Kessler got the better of him in that area at various times in those fights.

He has been a tough fight for anyone he has faced so far.

 

Ward is still learning and Bika was a valuable experience. He'll hone his skills further agains Abraham and I think after that he'll be ready for Froch or Johnson.

 

the way ward struggle with bika makes me think hopkins would smash him but maybe not though.froch knows what he has to do to win that fight, he is going to have to ruff ward up and get in his ass.ward want hurt him unless he gets hit by some **** he never saw coming.should be a good fight and the ref gone play a big part of it i think.froch has to make it a dog fight and the ref needs to say the hell out of the way.

This is nonsense. Froch can't ruff Ward up. Froch feels comfortable at mid and long range where he can use that reach of his and that jab and where he can put some power behind his punches, what punches do you guys think Froch can pull better and faster than Ward inside? Froch would be vulnerable inside. Why would anyone think Froch would get out of his comfort zone? You can see glimps of what Froch would look like inside in the fight against Dirrell.
Froch fighting Ward on the inside can happen only if Ward forces his way in.Not by Froch choosing to do so.
Did you actually see Froch fighting inside , ever ? I'm guessing he was sloppy as ****.

 

Bika would probably do the same thing to Froch. Bika isn't very skilled, but in the ring often, gives his opponents issues, simply with his physicality, whether he is even landing punches or not.

 

Ward didnt struggle with Bika. Nobody can look 'good' against Bika. Ward did exactly what he wanted to do and look good doing it.... at least as good as you can against a guy like Bika. Ward will dance circles around Froch, same as Froch did to Abraham.
