The reason why Ward looked less than stellar against Bika is because his left hand was injured so he couldn't use his jab as much as he usually does. He still won pretty much every round though. Froch's style isn't even remotely similar to Bika's so people shouldn't use that fight to predict the outcome of a Ward-Froch fight.
no there not similar but still ward should of used his boxing ability more. or maybe tried to but couldnt handle the rough and tumble tactics of bika. froch and bika aren't similar but froch can rough you up just as bad. and he can catch you coming in aswell alot better the bika. my point was the only way froch will get beat is if ward boxes him from range with skill and movement. froch can't handle that! but can ward put that type of performance together for 12 long rounds? im not so sure. remember in a nuetral venue in america. judges usually favour the agressor. i can froch being the agressor in this fight.
Froch is way different than Bika. Bika and Ward are inside dirty fighters who butt and hold a lot. That fight was designed to be ugly Ward will probably try to keep Ward at his jab distance and fire the right hand Froch will wanna get him to the ropes and hammer him but not get in too close or Ward will hold and hit and do all that stuff on the inside. This fight to me is a mystery Froch can have his way with him or Ward can have his way with Froch Both guys can frustrate you and do things to offset their opponents Neither man is an easy fight This one probably goes the distance if it is a TKO/KO its probably scored by Froch
I expect Ward to do what he does best: headbutt and clinch as a mad man whenever the fight starts getting interesting. And as good as Froch is, I don“t think he will have any answer. He is a tough guy and good at brawling, but Ward has refined his weird spoiling tactics to a degree where it is close to impossible to take apart. I predict a messy fight, a very frustrated Froch and a split decision win in Wards favour. All fallowed by a sour atmosphere, with Froch complaining afterwards and many boxingfans agreeing with him.
