He'd be absolutely slaughtered much worse than Froch from the American fans on here. Watching against Kessler and Bika I fail to see how he excites as a fighter.

Is it just because he's American?

People on here had the cheeK to call Froch for rabbit punches.

I do love the American commentary on fights however, puts us Brits to shame, makes for a much more exciting fight.

This wasn't he case with the Froch - AA fight. I watched the fight twice, first with the British commentators, and then later with the American. The British version was much better and more exciting. The American version was boring because they didn't say much. Froch's girl had them all messed up and they couldn't even do their job, with her shouting and all.

I watched both as well, I think the british commentator tonight was more accurate about the fight, but the American version is more dramatised, background music etc.

Froch's bird was annoying as **** to be honest, I was hoping AA had a misus or bf to spark her the **** out.

Nearly every fight Iv watched on british tv, I watch again on the yanks version and its much more enjoyable. Final round Froch v Taylor prime example.

On what evidence? get him away from oakland with some neutral judges and ref, then lets see what happens.

Froch still has to get through GJ which will be a tough fight. I aint saying Froch is the greatest that ever lived, but you cant shake the fact Ward is a dirty fighter.

And my point being if it was Froch who fought like that he'd be slaughtered on here.

What if the Euros refused to fight unless all their fights were in their home town?

I think he'd be looked at about the same overall. The only difference is that the most of the ones calling him out as boring and dirty and most of the ones thinking he's the next great thing and has elite skills would swap places.

For me apart from the odd warm up, a title fight should never be on home soil, with home judges or ref.

Needs to be neutral ground all the way down the line.

I was told when I first started to follow boxing that any fight on german soil, the judges would be showered with gifts and expensive hotels or whatever. It probably could be said for most countries in the world though.

I could point to the Kessler fight but you've got your mind made up on the head-butting cheating *******. If only that fight was in Germany Kessler would've schooled Ward.

And It's a fact that Ward's a dirty fighter? Uh hum.

Froch gets criticized for a lack of skills. And Froch DID fight dirty against Dirrell with his WWF and hitting behind the head tactics. No, not favoritism there.

Unfortunately, there's no country on the planet where home cookin' doesn't play a part in ****ing up fighters' lives. It hurts everyone when the wrong guy wins. Even the guy getting the robbery are hurt because fans punish fighters for that even if the benefiting fighter isn't responsible for it.
