If Ward wins it will be the best win of the last 10 years. No question.

If Ward gets a clean UD or KO that would be the best win in boxing by a significant margin in the last 10 years.

Here we have Kovalev. A big, strong, precise and skilled LHW. With a destructive instinct and sinister style.

Kovalev is without a doubt the baddest man on the planet in a very long time. And perhaps the most ferocious and vicious fighter in decades.

Would be a legendary win for Andre Ward.

I can't see it as the best win in a decade. How is it legendary for Ward? Are we going to start overrating Kov just to up Ward later?

I think Kovalev knocks him out anyways. And yes it would be the best win in a decade in my opiniom.

You certainly are entitled to that opinion.

Where do we put Fury vs Wlad? and what would a top5-top10 best wins look like.

Wladimir is without question more distinguished than Kovalev but we have to add factors such as whether Wlad may have been past his prime as well as Ward going up a weight class.

JMM TKO 6 is obviously a contender as well

It can be a fun discussion but in the end it is just opinion

Wlad had an aura of vulnerability to him though. He was 39. Past his prime. Was already flattened and destroyed twice in his prime.

Same with Pac. Was clearly not a true Welterweight. Was already in decline and it was the 4th fight already.

Kovalev has shown very few vulnerabilities and he's a big power puncher.

No it wouldn't be. With that said it would be a great win, possibly the best of his career depending on how Kovalev's career goes after.

How can you have Pac's win over Morales there but not Morales' win over Pac there? IMO that was the better win a faded Morales beat a prime Pac.

Calzaghe vs Kessler should be higher than Ward vs Froch?

Ward vs Kessler as well probably

Can't really answer that until we've seen how the fight pans out. Whatever the result, it will be the manner of victory which decides if this is a fight for the ages and a great victory. Until they fought, most would have said Manny would have been the best win on Floyd's record but, in the cold light of day, it comes nowhere near considering how routine a 'W' it turned out to be. So until Ward and Krusher step into the ring, any assessment is pretty meaningless.
