If was either Kell Brook, or NO fight at all. Which would you prefer?

Forgive me if I don't weep for the finances of a man with a net worth of $25m Loudon.

I think it's quite clear that Hearn wanted this fight over the CEJ one as soon as he knew GGG was open to a fight with Brook. They could have used this to force Eubank's hand but instead took the easy option IMO.

I'd have rather started the search for an opponent from scratch than entertain this farce.

All I feel is that if Eubank had agreed to the deal upfront, GGG would have been fighting Eubank. Which is the fight that we all wanted.

I still think he's too small, simply because this is Golovkin that we are talking about and I don't see anybody within a sniff of his weight having a chance. That said, Brook is a lot bigger than I thought. This could be a fun fight for a while.

Of course the fight was serious. That's why Golovkin SIGNED THE CONTRACT. Eubank is very popular in Britain, why on earth would Gennady NOT want to fight him? :huh

Hearn is the guy that got Brook as a replacement and pushed him onto K2. If GGG wanted a fight with Brook, surely they would be the ones dragging him up?

Because Eubank Junior most likely never did see a contract. CE Senior won't even allow Junior's own promoter to talk to him. CES is a colossal bellend. HE is the reason why this fight is not happening. Eubank / GGG was a great fight. No reason for it not to be made, unless of course Eubank Senior scuppered the deal with his absurd demands.

Of course Eubank Jr is pyssed off. This was his fight, and Brook took it from under his nose. But maybe he should look at daddy dearest and see the real problem.

Eubank / GGG could still happen. Hearn all but said that the door is not shut. So let's see what happens after this.
