Let's hope you're right, but the point is, if Eddie had been lying, Snr would have gone crazy.

Guys like Shock are just kidding themselves.

    So you're making an assumption.

Well it seemed easy to work out a deal with Brook. We know that because he did that.

We don't know how easy it would be to work out a deal with Lara or Saunders or Jacobs because we know he didn't do that.

We can rightly assume he would get more money against Brook. Which should be fine for those who are fans of finances. For those like me who are fans of fights, we just wanna see the best fight the best no matter the politics or payday.

Eddie is Kell's promoter and Kell had told him months ago that he'd be interested in fighting GG if the opportunity ever presented itself. So after Eubank Snr's ego went into overdrive, Eddie phoned him up at the last minute and asked him if he was serious. A bemused Kell replied "yes" and then asked him why. The rest is history.

Again, to salvage that HBO date, they had less than a week to finalise something and arrange the media tour etc. It was all rushed.

Regarding Jacobs, just a few weeks ago, he said he was looking at fighting Mora and he wouldn't be interested in fighting GG until in about 18 months time.

Regarding Billy, he's got a tune up lined up in September and he's said he'd only fight GG for huge money.

Regarding Lara, they're on different networks and a fight would never have been put together in a few days with their camps starting the following week. It's totally unrealistic. Again, the Brook fight was rushed, and if Eddie didn't promote him, it probably wouldn't be happening.

The only thing GG could have done to find a more credible opponent, would have been to refuse Brook and miss his HBO date. But that would have been nonsensical.

I am just happy to see him stay busy, even if it is against a hopelessly overmatched welter.

Brook would be considered a top notch name in Canelo's resume.

Do you have any proof backing up the words in your final paragraph?

K2 who? Joke promoters of the aging Klitschko brothers and no one else. With no presence outside of Germany . K2 is the reason their is no fight open your eyes. They make a huge footprint into the Americas with a GGG win and at catch weight that opportunity greatly lessens. A GGG win without investing into that market area is great smart business move for K2. This is a business not an after school fight. GBP should not have to make any concessions and assist K2 expansion into the Americas.

Name one K2 fighter that has taken a risk? Name a K2 fighter not named Klitschko that has amounted to anything outside Germany? Name a K2 fighter period. End of story resign your account and remove GGG's privates from _____

I'm quite sure he's not responded further at CEJ's request. He prob realises he's cost his son an absolute fortune and doesn't want to do any further damage to his son's career.

Put simply he was outmanoeuvred by Hearn and has no choice but to be quiet if his son wants to be on Sky.

That's if he's taken a step back and considered things after things have cooled down.

Again, had Eddie told any untruths, Snr would have responded within the hour on Twitter etc. He's got a giant ego and is very emotional.
