Well we'll have to agree to disagree here Loudon. Rightly or wrongly he thought he was acting in his son's best interest with his silly demands. I think he's now acting in his son's best interest by keeping quiet so remains quiet.

If you want to take Hearn at face value then that's up to you but I don't trust that slippery rat at all. Look at his shady dealings with stubhub. Is that a man you can trust to tell the truth?

No, I'm right and you're wrong.

    Only joking.

I believe he definitely thought he was acting in his sons best interests. I've no doubt about that. Of course he wants his son to be well paid etc. But he just got carried away.

Again, I'm not a huge fan of Eddie's and I don't trust him 100% but I do in this particular instance.

It's all good mate, you know I always respect your opinion.

Ha. For all my bleating I'm actually going to the fight but only because my friend has the 02 as a client so gets midrange tickets for the price of the booking fee.

    That's cool man.

I bet you could sell your ticket for a ridiculous price on EBay.

    Where will you be sat?

What weight do think Kell will weigh-in at?

Do you think we'll ever see him back at WW again?

The firs sentence. To be specific "the only thing" and "miss his HBO date".

The second sentence needs no clarifying.

I don't understand why you're asking for proof?

You said he could have found a more credible opponent than Brook. Again, yes, under different circumstances. But again, when he signed the contract for Brook, the fight was only 9 weeks away and they had to finalise everything such as the press conference etc.

    You don't need any proof.

GG has an 8 week camp. So to have given him his 8 weeks and to finalise an another opponent, a venue, and a press conference etc, he'd have needed to have found an opponent instantly to agree to everything in a couple of days like how Brook did. How realistic was that? Time was against him. The contract was sent out on the Wednesday and it was finalised and made official on the Friday. So if he'd have walked from the Brook negotiations to pursue someone else, unless he could have found someone in a few days, he'd have needed a new date from HBO so he could have had enough time to prepare. That's only logical.

Prob. I hate touts and scalpers though so wouldn't sell them online myself.

I'm second tier on the far right of the 02 so decent seats. The worst seats at the 02 wouldn't be considered that bad in comparison to the likes of Wembley but still aren't as good as people make out. Luckily I'm not in the gods.

Back at WW? Not is 2m is enough to tempt the likes of Vargas. Perhaps we'll see Kell travel stateside but I genuinely don't think Thurman and Garcia really want that work.

I think he'll way in around the full weight limit with the aim being to increase his strength in the coming weeks. Is 8 weeks long enough to pack on the required amount of muscle properly? In my opinion no.

I hate touts too. I've been frozen out of a few gigs.

That's good regarding your view, I hope you have a great night.

Kell's weight intrigues me. I'm wondering if he'll go straight back to WW afterwards, or if he may struggle. Maybe he'll go back to JMW first or have a CW. Like most people, I'm going to assume that GG beats him. If that happens and Kell is a solid 160 at the weigh-in, I can't see him returning straight back to WW. So it's going to be interesting.

I'm still in shock that this is even happening. It's unbelievable, especially as Kell's career has been heavily criticised of late.

For some of the lesser cards I sometimes have spares as he gets 6. I'll drop you a line sometime and see if you want to attend.

Well you being a big Roy fan you've seen what happens to a fighter when they put the weight on properly and then take it off. I don't think Kell will have irreversibly bulked up though, he simply hasn't had enough time to do that. It'll mainly be water weight IMO whilst carrying a little extra muscle and body fat.

I think he moves down to 154 if he loses. I think he will weigh in around 157. Problem he has is he fights in a physical style due to being big at the weight. He ain't gonna be able to bully GGG. He will land first, he's well schooled and will evade shots but his fitness wasn't the best before so I can see him getting worn down with body shots in the middle rounds and getting put away/withdrawn by corner in a bit of a heating.

Thanks mate, that's really kind of you.

Yeah, putting weight on and then losing it is a dangerous game. But like you say, he won't have had long enough to really add solid mass. I'd be intrigued to see his percentage of body fat etc though.

It would be crazy if he could pull it off. But I've still got thoughts of how he struggled with Carson Jones in their first fight.

Yeah will be an intriguing one alright. Fingers crossed for Kell. He must have faith in his chin so I'm hoping it holds up. As we said, body is a different story..
