brook is much bigger then khan naturally and has a far better chin

i would actually call brook vs canelo a 50-50 fight

No it was always a case of when Canelo lands it was over.

Everyone knew Khan was in a mismatch of a fight just like this.

But obviously fans react differently depending upon who their fave is.

brook would beat canelo especially how how canelo looked in the khan fight

remember brook is much bigger then khan and has a better chin and more power.

imagine Golovkin fighting khan? thats sick

If he did you'd make a lot of money because he'd be a huge underdog.

Golovkin fighting any WW is sick. He'll destroy them with ease.

khan and brook are not the same

brook is way bigger and has better chin and has more power

The difference in terms of result would be none. Obviously Golovkin would destroy both.

    Exactly. FWIW I've slated both.

Same. I'll watch this like I watched that but neither add anything legacy wise. Both are massive cherry picks of the low risk high reward category.

My point is that this isn't a "pick" at all. It's a last minute contingency.

It is, though, an obvious mismatch.

But if you're Golovkin and you're faced with either find someone else to negotiate with, yet again, or simply accept this with the same date and venue, allowing you to fight again this year, the choice is obvious.

Er... No. Jacobs called him out last week when he thought the CEJ fight was all but signed. Now was the time to force Danny's hand. He'd have looked utterly ridiculous if he didn't sign a fight after talking up a meeting.

Khan Canelo were closer in weight than Brook GGG.

GGG could have told Eddie Hearn he didn't want Brook and to negotiate further with the Eubanks. A comprise could have been made.

Sounds like they bit the hand off Eddie when he waved a Brook fight in front of them.

Actually that is an excellent point. I wish that he had taken him up on it.

But I suspect that it was more convenient for Hearn, who promoted both Eubank and Brook, to organise something with Brook at the last minute.
