If we´d merge Vitali and Wlad into one fighter, is he unbeatable?

Dunno. It might just mean that he fights the same way, and still doesn't sit down on his shots much, but that even his pitter-patter flurries become a lot more damaging.

Maybe the Holyfield portion of his persona would realize that he was getting away with a curiously large number of low blows, and intensify his "accidental" efforts in that direction.

I doubt it. Cooney and Holmes were going toe to toe in the early to mid rounds until Gerry started wearing down and getting busted up. Holmes was taking some hurtful shots in that fight too. And mind you Cooney had only seen 54 seconds of ring action in two years - another thing that should be mended if we’re recreating that fight

That fighter might have been unbeatable in his own era.
But both had average speed at best. So if you put him in any H2H matchup, a prime Ali would still have been too fast.

Might as well put terminator in the ring with other guys.

Yes, no one beats that combo. Period

As it stands VK alone is probably the #1 H2H fighter already. Putting the speed, boxing skills, Intelligence and the unmatched power of Wk with Vitali's Endurance, Chin, Work rate, inside game, and meanness is damn near unfair.

The perfect fighter triad is Value, Ali, Shavers.

VK is most certainly not the #1 H2H fighter in history already.

Agreed! Calling Vitali #1 H2H implies that there are lesser numbered fighters close to his greatness. Vitali shares his greatness with nobody. Sui generis.

No one before Vitali. No one after.

EDIT: Except Rademacher Frazier. He kicks the stuffing out of that robotic lummox.

Sounds vaguely Afrikaner. Some colleague of Kallie Knoetze, perhaps?
