If we did a historical tournament in every weight class would half the winners come after year 2000

    Lewis was quite sloppy vs Briggs.

    From memory he got hit quite alot and was lucky not to go down in the 1st round.

    He wasn't sloppy at all, Briggs hurt him a couple times then got dismantled. Round 4, thats the best version of Lewis I've ever seen he KOs 2000s Lewis

    Yeah, but around this time he also had an iffy performace against Mavrović. So it's not a stretch to say he was in his prime in 2001. Also, in 2000 he recorded 2 out his 5 biggest wins: Tua and Grant.

    Well I disagree Lewis was very hittable in this fight and looked quite sloppy IMO.
