:clap:Very Good post....However, here is where I disagree:

In your post you said there were a number of fighters that tried to "out-slick Cotto and play it cute".

But none of those fighters can TOUCH THE SURFACE of the skill...but most importantly...THE DISCIPLINE of Floyd Mayweather.

Floyd NEVER allows himself to be exposed, Never gets fatigue, never gets frustrated that leads to doing something stupid in the ring...Ala the Judah low blows or the Cotto Body Slams.

People talk about Clottey's defense...But IMO a fighter that covers himself and just absorbs TONS of punches...Is totally different than a fighter that is EXTREMELY ELUSIVE!!!!

I still have Mayweather winning by Late TKO 9-12.

Void refused to fight Pac, Cotto, Margarito, Mosley, etc. Void is void.

After watching the Judah fight, I think Cotto will beat Floyd if they ever fought.

He's fast with timing, his pressure is a lot more calculated and powerful than Hatton's, and he makes great adjustments in the ring to neutralize his opponent's advantages.

He frustrated Mosley and pummeled Judah. He'll beat Floyd.

    I concur...
Also remember Marquez did manage to put gloves on Mayweather with all his speed and if Cotto does the same with his power, Floyd will hurt alot.

I think Floyd would OWN Cotto, especially the post-Margarito Cotto.

I never thought Cotto could beat PBF, and that was before the Margo fight.

Cotto's only chance would be to land a big shot, which he could do with his great timing. But I think PBF takes it easy.

Style wise I'd say Cotto would pose some danger to Mayweather. I'd love to see this fight - moreso that PBF vs Pac.

Excellent points, San Raf. I said this before myself, Cotto is s highly offensive fighter and his weaknesses that he could work on are defense related. It think that against Mayweather, he wouldn't have to worry about much other than hunting him down since its pretty fair to say that Mayweather would be doing a lot of running/holding in the fight.
