No comparison. Golovkin is levels above Brooks skill/Ring IQ/Power/Stamina/Experience/Toughness wise. If Brook is as skillful he will go 8-10 rounds, I doubt it big time.
Body shot will drop Kell , probably how the fight ends . Will be interesting how aggressive Brook will be to start . If i were to be knocked out by GGG probably a body shot is the least damaging .... long term . Kell gets a good payday and his stock won't go down when he loses or ... ahem ... wins.
Golovkin is a much better boxer than many give him credit for. In terms of footwork, timing, creating angles and keeping his opponent on the defensive Golovkin's skills are as good as they come.
Pretty sure weight wouldn't be the issue here, because I'm pretty sure they'll both come in close to 170 at fightnight. Difference in skill and power will be the issue.
The weight is an issue because Brook is unproven at that weight. If he had moved up to 154 and then 160 while looking as good as he has appeared to be at 147 then it would be no issue. Brook relies on his physicality at 147 to win fights this will not be in his favor at 147. There is going to be a big difference between taking punches at 147 then at 160. Those heavier shots especially to the body will tire him out faster and he has never fought a 12 round fight of this caliber with all the weight he will have on himself. We have weight classes for a reason and that is because WEIGHT IS A HUGE ISSUE. Edit. This reply is for those who don't think weight is going to be an issue. Seriously why do you think we have so many divisions....
