IMO, team Hatton may have smelled his first loss coming after the Collazo scare, and like you said "if you're gonna lose, it's best to lose to the best on the planet".

I actually don't know about this fight anymore, i think people are underestimating Ricky Hatton. And on the other hand their are people underestimating Floyd Mayweather. Rikcy Hatton has not been doing all the talking, he is taking the pressure off himself. Its not if he looses, its how he looses. If Floyd Mayweather dominates and breaks down Ricky Hatton and then stops him in Gatto Fashion, bad!

"Ricky Hatton will loose, allot of credit, this is cruel sport"

    I hope Floyd Mayweather Wins.

If gets knocked out then it'll lower his reputation. If he makes it close but loses a SD then he could even enhance his reputation.

This fight was only signed because Hatton was offered enough money to grow a set and fight one of the several guys better than him around his weight.

He's gonna be compensated enough to feel good about losing his zero. That's all there is to it.

Hatton can't lose anything in defeat...only if he does a Duran(no mas). Floyd has everything to lose and if he does, I think alot of people will be rewriting history on here and saying he was always overated and take away Ricky's credit.

You said it right there! I belive in both fighters, I appreciate their talents. Most folks will be looking for the same ole thing: Mayweather pop shotting and rolling with the punches with a bit of running/getting out of the way. Ricky will be trying to put on pressure, swinging and missing alot, thus getting tired, then Floyd will stay in the game more in the later rounds once Ricky is tired. It's a replay of Baldo, DLH. That's how FM will win. But if FM surprises us with a total beat down (Gatti) type match, Hatton will get shamed badly.

Its not that Flody Mayweather can't beat down, and blast openents out all the time. Flody Mayweather can fight like that, but this is boxing. And thats what Flody Mayweather does best, everything comes off the defence. Some fighters because they are one demensional, have no choice but to make it a brawl, or a slugfest. But talented athletes technically and phsyically like Flody Mayweather and Roy Jones can win ethier way. Just like Lennox Lewis, we did'nt know what Rasta Lennox we would see, because he was that dam talented.

If Flody Mayweather stops Ricky Hatton, it would be is best performance of his whole career.

I just can't see anything other than a Mayweather victory.
