I hope he doesn't start trying to talk himself up into a big money fight against anyone...want to see him earn any big fights by beating credible opponents. I'm a fan of Haye but I'm not gonna be suckered into thinking he's a worthy top 10 contender off beating the likes of De mori....lets see!!
I'm hoping he loses but if he wins as I'm 90 percent sure he will he Deffo will start trying to talk himself into big fights with fury or wilder or joshua
Haye IS the BIG MONEY fight. No need for him to talk his way into one. Believe you me, if he's 80% of the fighter he was pre-Wlad, he'll KTFO DeMori in a handful of rds, and hopefully he's filling out some. He doesnt need to be this shredded model type to be a top HW. He's already top 10 the moment he beats DeMori, and based off the current HW landscape, I know 1 top 20 HW who would love to go to the UK and have a s**** with Haye.....that'd be Thompson. Wins over DeMori and before summer would more than adequately prepare him for the round robin that is the WBA minor title, which will likely be held by Ortiz mid summer when he fights Browne/Chagaev winner. :good And you'd best believe they're licking their chops at the idea of career high paydays vs Haye.:good
Maybe he'll begin to step it up and face the cream of the crop from Britain such as Skelton, Sprott, Cornish, Price. If he succeeds through that murderers row, he can head over to the states and rematch Barrett, Bert Cooper, Mitchel and he will have earned a shot like his 1st go around
haye will have to fight a couple easy fights just to see if he can still do it and can he get the hype surrounding him back... both we dont know yet ...
Dimitrenko for all his faults is actually a solid euro-level contender, even at this point. Wouldnt be a bad choice of opponent for his March/April return, that is if he emerges victorious and healthy vs DeMori.:think
