Great IF - of course....but we can suppose that he has a chance tonight (difficult to predict, maybe 20 %).......Will he automatically become top ten HW ?

Possibly, but it would depend how he wins. If it turns out Joshua has a David Price chin and gets knocked out when the first flush punch of his career lands, then probably not. But if he outboxes Joshua for several rounds before knocking him out, or wins a decision (good luck with that), then probably yes.

Well, Joshua is rated #2 in the WBC (behind Povetkin) and #3 in the WBO (behind Fury and Glazkov ... and Fury will be champ in the next ratings and Glazkov is fighting for the IBF belt). Which means Joshua will probably be the #1 or #2 in the next WBO ratings.

So, if Whyte won, he could replace Joshua and be as high as #2 in the world. That's what happened with Leapai when he beat the WBO's #1 Boytsov. Leapai became the WBO mandatory himself.

A lot at stake today. Whoever wins will be right at the door.

This bout is incredibly well promoted for a bum fight. They duped a lot of people into believing that Whyte actually has a chance...

He could get a ranking in he top 10 by some of the sanctioning bodies but that doesn't mean he's actually a top 10 fighter. Joshua himself hasn't done anything to really deserve such a high ranking.

Well Joshua has an overinflated rating @ #2 for knocking over stiffs so yes Whyte would be top 10 on principle alone.

Maybe he should, based on the way Joshua dispatched Johnson!

Yes, he should be top 10 if he wins. The undercard has already started so settle in, probably 5-6pm EST for the main event.
