and Deontay won...would that mean he is better than Fury. How do boxing fans and analysts judge rankings when fighters have multiple fights, usually its the recent fight right? so Wilder would be seen as better than Fury?
Fury walked at Wilder after a 3 week camp. No defence, barely a jab. Two naff elbows and got dropped heavily and still steamrolled him. Do not mess with such a beast. Fury is an animal. Totally unbeatable in a dog fight. In a dog fight no fighter in history can beat him. He's too much man to handle.
Wilder will never be viewed as anything other than what he is, which is a freakishly built, highly athletic man who always has a punchers chance. Nothing more.
he would have lost 3 times and won 1 so I don’t think anyone in their right mind would think he’s better
Wilder would lose again. Styles make fights and Fury can do multiple styles that beat Wilder. Knock out Wilder. Wilder should stay away from Fury and I'm sure he will.
I am not the smartest when it comes to issues of a mathematical nature like percentages, however beating a fighter once, but losing twice and drawing once (albeit he should have lost) does not make you the better fighter percentage wise or in any other rating/ranking.
