Joshua did not dare to seriously threaten Franklin, he kept him at a distance, I doubt that Joshua still has that beast somewhere inside him, he is now just a barker with a long tongue, Wilder will defeat him and shut him up...

-He will have beaten Derrick Chisora 7 times by then
-He will have served as the sport's mental 'ealth ambassador.
-He will be able to say that Colman Barret ducked him
-He will be able to say that he ALMOST fought Tony Thompson

The list of this man's accomplishments goes on and on.

Fury already has a 3-0-1 record (many think 4-0), and despite that he is probably the most hated and criticized boxer of all mentioned on the topic.

"Prime Povetkin and Ibragimov were better than Joshua."

I don't think it was a prime Povetkin, his power mysteriously increased after the Wlad fight. Prior to that he was going the distance with Firtha, Chagaev and Huck, not scoring a single KD. Wlad won a hybrid box-wrestling match against a Povetkin who refused to use the tactics he needed to to give himself a chance: headbutts, low blows and rabbit punches. Povetkin did far worse pressuring Wlad than Peter 1, who was willing to get dirty.

Ibragimov never proved much. Drew with Ray Austin, decisioned Briggs and mid-40's Holyfield, probably ducked Tony Thompson, who would have beaten him in all likelihood. Vitali didn't have Joshua's offensive arsenal, see the Kevin Johnson fights, hence he struggled with Byrd and quit while Wlad dominated.

Joshua had size and power over all of these fighters and came to win more than they did, especially Ibragimov. Iggy said "I realised I couldn't win halfway through the fight" and never left survival mode. Povetkin probably had the best record of Wlad's opponents beaten but his best wins are inferior to Joshua's.

Wlad said after that Fury fight that "I was in one of my best physical conditions but I got things wrong, mentally and tactically". So even Wlad didn't make a prime-related excuse. If Wlad thought he wouldn't beat Fury (who Wlad's trainer said was the biggest threat to him years prior) then he should have retired. Wlad thought "I'm in or around my physical prime, I have a massive experience advantage over Fury, whose in his title debut and I have home, A-side and champion advantage." Fury went in as a 4/1 underdog and beat Wlad 8-4/9-3 officially in Germany with relatively little damage taken, those are the facts. At the same age as Fury was, Wlad was getting pancaked by Sanders and Brewster. Fury didn't have anything to gain status-wise by rematching Wlad, it worked out better for Fury to let Wlad fight Joshua as Wlad looked far better 17 months later than he did vs Fury.

And he was on juice!! He then ducked the rematch .

It's not about the inane chattering of boxing fans in a thread, it's a Compubox stat. There is no fight on record in any weight class where a contender won a 12 round fight while taking fewer than 52 punches from a champion, let alone the P4P No.2.

If it were easy we'd have seen someone else do it. Byrd or Thompson or Haye or Povetkin or Pulev. No one before or since could do it except Fury, it's the GOAT outboxing performance. And if it's pathetic, what have you done in your life? Scratch that because it's pointless asking, what percentage of boxers have done something comparable to ending an 11.5 year, 34-0 era in the champion's backyard while setting the all-time defensive record?
