If Wilder beats Povetkin, Joshua, and Fury, is he an ATG?

Does this put him at least in the same discussion as Ali, Holmes, Foreman, Tyson, and Lewis?

Takes him to 39-0, first undisputed HW champion since Lennox Lewis, and cements him as the best of his era. I'd have to say yes It at least puts him in that club.

Even if he beats two out of the three he deserves at least mentioned depending on how bad he loses or what happens after.

He never becomes an ATG until he gives a rematch to Dustin Nichols.

A lot remains to be seen. IF Fury beats Wlad again, has a couple good defenses, and if AJ continues to look impressive and rolls up defenses, then if Wilder beats them both to unify (which I don't think he'll do), then yes, he starts to get in the conversation. The rest of his career would need to remain impressive to maintain that, though.

If he gets all the titles and dominates for a few years, he'll be ATG.

I don't think WLAD is going away so easily. The loss is going to make him even more reinvigorated than he's ever been.

Someone is going to have to literally "put" him into retirement -- he's going to potentially stop any of these guys from getting off the ground.

It's highly likely that Wilder might find himself having to face Wladimir somewhere along the way.

-Joshua still had a ways to go. He is showing a ton of promise, but it's still very, very early in his pro career.

-Fury has to beat Wlad again in order to become a pillar in your assessment. Can he do it? We'll see. If he does, then Fury-Wilder becomes a huge contest if both stay unbeaten champions leading into unification.

-That leaves Povetkin... who remains an obstacle in Deontay's immediate path. The Wilder-Povetkin fight is not a forgone conclusion. It's a dangerous fight for both of them. I will definitely give Wilder credit for beating Sasha, should he do it.

In the end, it all depends on how things shake out after the smoke clears. A clear path to greatness appears to be shaping up on the horizon for any of the "New Guard" HWs depending on how things pan out (i.e. who goes on to beat whom, etc).

I suspect that Wlad isn't going to let *anybody* come along and shine. People talk in reference to him as if he's "done" but that's definitely a bit premature at this point.

Nah. He needs to show consistency and longitivity. He has one B level opponent and is now set to fight his first A level opponent. The rest of his opposition is C and below.
He us in a division that has Povetkin, Klitschko, Haye as the old school top 3, Joshua, Fury and Ortiz as the new school top 3. He needs to beat all 6 to be considered great

    This.^

Wilder's record seems great on paper but it flatters to deceive.

Let him do the same as champion for a few years and face some decent guys and we can talk. Up to now he looks like a vase waiting to fall off the mantlepiece. I think Sasha it going to tip that vase off.

Once he starts fighting the best in the division, his true level will be revealed.

His previous record and his fighting style does not suggest he is going to come out of fights against Povetkin, Joshua and Fury too well.

Well yes, but that isn't going to happen. He isn't even going to get past Povetkin.

If he does that he isnt ATG straight away but if he does that he will dominate for years and become ATG, but lets first wait to see him vs Povetkin, i would be surprised if he beats Povetkin.
