If Wilder bets Povetnkin will he be ATG top 10?

povetkin is easy work for wilder....

fury is a halfwit oaf...wilder would send him back to his trailer

joshua would be a great win for wilder to build his legacy

beating an oaf with an iq of 25 and marco hucks leftover does nothing for his legacy though

 

If he beats all 3 and Wlad, then retired I'd have no choice but to consider him as a top 20 heavyweight, provided the wins weren't controversial in any way. Not saying he would get in, but I'd atleast consider him

 

At first I thought this was a troll thread. Its laughable to think beating Povetkin alone would get him into top 10. But, beating Fury and Joshua, assuming Joshua continues to progress and Fury beats Wlad again, might be enough to get him into the top 10, if other things go right and unless he comes apart at the wheels afterward. I'd say he's the least likely of the 3 younger SHW's to achieve that feat, but I'm not ruling it out.

He'd be neck and neck with Ali, Louis and Valuev for the top 3 HW's spot I'd say.

You really dont have wilder on the current hw top 10 ? Hows that possible.. and beating povetkin does zero for me but beating AJ, that's the single greatest win in hw history.

AJ is going to prove to be the most dominste hw champ ever. ahh yes, thats what i truly believe. I strongly believe AJ gets better every week he trains and is so talented with simply fight ending power in every and any shot, power that the hw division has never witnessed before.

Fury vs Wilder is 50/50. To become a top 10 ATG, you need to have several title defenses.

If he beat all three, and had say 10 more title defenses vs quality opponents, then it's a conversation.

 

This is exactly what I was going to put, ATG status is earned over a period of time not on a couple of good wins surrounded by 30+ low level opponents.
