I'd give Wilder credit if he fights Ortiz, followed by Fury/Wlad and Joshua/Parker. He has fought enough mediocre fighters!

I'd give Lewis, Ali, Marciano, Louis, and Wlad credit if they went through that run.

Sheesh....Im not Wilder's biggest fan by any means, but why not just drop him into Syria with a giant White Cross tattooed across his forehead. :-:)-:)-(

I'd give him more credit if he tried to go through that trio and got knocked out in the process, than fighting 3 low risk fringe HW's. The former option probably isn't the best game-plan for him tho. Mind you, maybe not Ortiz but Fury/Wlad would be a big money cash out fight that he still might have a chance in.

I don't know what you're talking about, Washington is not good at all.

He's a hair better than Arreola, but that's only because Arreola is garbage at this point.

    Both are Arnold Gjergjaj level.

I've been hating on Joshua for fighting Breazeale, but Wilder fighting Arreola or Washington... this is absurd.

Christ. I remember thinking it was stupid that Fury was fighting Hammer. Hammer is head and shoulders above all these guys.

Hardly as drastic as you make it look. Wilder already made three defences against B level fighters. Does it not stand to reason he should now fight at least two top 10? At a title holder is it too much to ask for at least one unification bout?

    Well.....

Ive never seen any HW titlist in the 35 yrs Ive been following the sport fight 3 consecutive top 5s.

Not saying it hasnt happened prior to the expansion of the talent pool, but even Lewis had his Mavrovic, even Ali had his Bonavena, even Tyson had his Smith, etc etc etc.

Not saying those opponents werent solid HWs......even Williams was solid when Tyson fought him, but your'e underrating Stiverne and Duhaupus in Wilder's last 4, and your'e asking of him something that I can't remember happening.

Even if Wilder was as good as Tyson, head and shoulder better than the rest, it would be poor mgmt to put him in back to back to back unification fights. :thumbsup

Gerald is a least as tall as Wilder and can crack a bit. His chin is unknown really and his stamina isnt that great. Would make an interesting first 4 rounds or so.

I hear your point, but out of his three defences, who is the top 5? Is it not high time he fights a top 5 opponent?

Wilder has already beaten better fighters than Washington. Washington would be out of there in 6 rounds or less. Granted that's more than Chris Arreola could do, lol, but who cares. Either one of those guys would be beaten to a pulp very badly by the bronze bomber.

It is, and seems he WAS....but like or not, Potvetkin's meldonium use, past or present, caused the problem.

Wilder's best win is now officially Duhaupas, who is highly underrated on this forum, and in boxing circles alike.

The guy is actually probably a top 10 HW. Would easily be ranked right up there if not for the robbery vs Teper. :think

That is ironic, coming from a possible re****.

In any event, your boy pussed out and is fighting nipples.
