If AJ did get back up, he’d stay in the corner and wouldn’t leave it until the ref calls off the fight.
Alway makes me laugh that with this fight people assume Joshua won’t be fighting back. If Wilder lands one of his bombs he’s probably getting dropped hard, who knows if he’ll get up, there is no set rule. However Joshua is probably more likely to land his own shots before this, being the better all round boxer, Wilder seems to be waaay more durable though, but if he does get clipped can he survive the onslaught that will come straight after? Both equally likely scenarios.
Wlad let AJ off the hook. He should have tried to get the KO, but he didn't. If Wilder lands clean on AJ, he may get up, but it won't matter since he'll start going into a shell. He would get stopped shortly. If AJ lands clean on Wilder, he's going down. AJ has more power than Fury and Wilder's defense is awful. AJ is much more likely to land clean on Wilder before Wilder lands clean on AJ, so it's not going to depend on power. AJ has better skills and he will likely land first. If Wilder lands first, it's night night for AJ.
Dunno, Klitschko’s power carried well up in to the upper echelons of the division, I don’t think it’s a lock Wilder hits harder to be honest.
If AJ is set for the punch he could take it a lot better than if he gets caught off guard. It's always the punches you don't see coming that hurt you the most as they say. He took the atomic right hand of Wlad (but took him 3 rounds to recover) but the counter hook of Ruiz really scrambled him and some people are more vulnerable to temple shots than others. Joshua seems more vulnerable than some in that particular area.
People acting like Wilder would kill AJ forget that as soon as Wilder gets hit he shells up and doesn't know what to do... When the man labelled pillow fisted landed a shot on Wilder he lost all momentum and shelled up. The only reason it went 11 rounds was because Fury was biding his time and being cautious. He was ready to be taken out round 5. Can you imagine what would happen to Wilder when a fast powerful guy like Joshua lands a punch on him? I'm not saying Wilder doesn't lay out Joshua cold.. Its a possibility but I reckon Joshua would take him. And let's be real, covid and the long lay off appeared to have effected Fury more than Wilder... Just look at his face, I've never seen him look ill/knackered before the fight like that. Wilder came in motivated with a plan yet it got torn apart quickly by Fury who is by the far better boxer. People are giving too much credit to Wilder..and yes he has heart that isn't debatable, but after round 4 he was a dead man walking throughout the fight and only tactic was right hand spam
Yup. Wilder's power is wildly hyped. He's scored 1 early ish knockdown on Fury over 3 fights. Fury DEFINITELY was not in the best shape for the fight. He got crazy sloppy and walked onto the shot. Wilder is done, and will lose badly to ANY top contender (Usyk, Joshua for sure). Levels.
Whats the evidence that Fury has a better chin? Hes been dropped 6 times in his career, 4 of them against Wilder. He was dropped by Cunningham as well who was 205-210lbs AJ got dropped by one of the hardest punchers ever in Klitschko and also dropped 4 times by Ruiz, mainly to do with his equilibrium being completely ****ed with that shot. He was falling over his own feet. There is actually no evidence that Fury has a better chin. They're probably about even
