Maybe the reality tv show can show him beating up more prostitutes like he was busted doing in Vegas. Hell the prostitutes may count as his toughest opponents when you look at his record

I'd much rather have Wilder face AJ in March than Ortiz yes. So would most of the forum, I think you're in minority here.
Ortiz is a good fight too but most people want to see Wilder-AJ, that's the fight to make now.

Its not if he loses its how he loses, if he is justifiably 8 rounds up out of 8 rounds and gets tagged by a known heavy hitter how bad can we speak of it? Knockouts happen.

Wilder is likely to win this on work rate, im more interested in seeing how he copes with somebody with a good Boxing brain and good Boxing technique. My gut feeling is Wilder is better than he looks and its the step up in competition that is going to bring out the best in him.

But if all Wilder has on Ortiz is the stamina and work rate and when they actually trade punches Ortiz is getting the better of him, even if he loses, its guna be fun on this forum for a month after cuz we will know Wilder is as basic and as clumsy as he has always looked.

He's already been exposed, from being rocked by a Gavern jab to being nearly KTDOd by a professional loser and real estate agent Sconiers

No, actually I've made one or more thread polls on this before, and you're in the minority. Most people want Wilder to be proven first before he gets fed to AJ.

AJ Wilder will be the fight to make if Wilder beats Ortiz and AJ beats Parker. Then it will be a mega fight.

    i think this
    its respect he wants
the chorus in america is loud
i heard some commentators giving him **** for his level of opposition

whyte has gone backwards to me and deontay would win that no trouble.

once bitten twice shy with ortiz / dont beleive in any conspiracy theories might i might be a beleiver if ortiz fight gets scrubbed.

Don't worry about how much Wilder makes against Ortiz. You've already belittled Ortiz so Wilder won't get any credit for that win. Wilder is on collision course with the stiff suspect PED coward. The stiff one talked about 2019-2020, but it's inevitable now as Wilder is closing the circle on the supreme Blackman. Only a fight with Fury can save Joshua and Hearn will negotiate that fight rather than face the biggest threat of his career. And if Joshua Fury happens, ill be rooting for Fury because he would fight Wilder.

If Wilder fights Ortiz i think he will win by UD or a late TKO.It's a big step up for Wilder,i'll give him that. But Ortiz is getting on a bit and is a bit slow.Wilder fights from range in this one.Using his speed/engine to keep out of any Ortiz bombs.
Only chance Ortiz has imho is to rush at Wilder and hope he connects flush..
After AJ beats Parker, Wilder will finally step up fight AJ for big money. If he does get KO'd he's had his cash out fight.

Both andrewa1 and lewisgassed made good points. I'm just happy that the HW division is finally starting to liven up.

If Ortiz hits Wlad or Joshua flush, I don't see them staying Vertical

If Ortiz stops Wilder, Hearn will make sure his Nigerian bodybuilder fights Ortiz when he gets a bit older...Why rush into the best counter puncher in the game, Current Luis Ortiz is favorite to KO Anthony Joshua

Wilder vs Ortiz, if the fight ends by KO it favors Ortiz
Joshua vs Ortiz, if the fight ends by KO it favors Ortiz

Only diff is that the WBC King Wilder is a true King in the age of Roided pretenders...He took this dangerous fight to make a statement, he will either win & subjugate the peasants or fall defending his throne...Great man...the unimportant peasants picked the right Great man to hate, Great powerful men like Deontay Wilder are the reason peasants are insignificant...so fair game

If Wilder loses this by anything other than a razor thin and controversial decision his bubble's burst. He's built himself up too much now that the first loss will signal his downfall.

If Wilder beats Ortiz, that is a very significant win and I wouldn't have many more questions.
If Ortiz beats Wilder but Wilder has at least a good showing I would prob give him credit. He's
taking the legit dark horse of the division, someone who I think could potentially beat all the
other top HWs. Credit to him, Ortiz, Joshua and Parker if they all pull this off.

It stands to reason that Ortiz will be Wilder's most difficult opponent to date. Wouldn't be surprised if either won, but i would favor Ortiz because of his ring generalship, size, and experience. I can see Ortiz picking off Wilder's shots while he inches close enough to eventually land a shot that hurts him .
