Will that be the end for the Bronze Bomber if Fury stops him again in the rematch?

No it won't be. He can still fight on and bring a lot of excitement in the process. Punchers are only done when they're literally completely done. Two losses to an ATG quality opponent like Fury is not the end.

Reality will brutally set in, and he will retire FOR AWHILE.

After a year or two, when he has blown a lot of his millions on legal defenses for beating up hookers and mid-life crisis is starting to set in, he will talk himself into thinking that he was lied to, it is not his fault that he never reached his greatest potential, and that if he just comes back with a new team and "trains harder" (it is what they all say) he will once again reach the heights of the division.

Then he will be brutally stopped again because...

    1. Old dogs don't learn new tricks
    2. These twenty of so excellent prospects will all be competing in a young, crowded division.
    3. He has already struggled in his prime while scraping the barrel for sick fighters and part-timers, and there really is no safe comeback opponent, and...
    3. He will still suck.

Then he will retire for good.

I expect Wilder to retire. I don't see why he would continue to fight once that 100-150M AJ superfight is completely off the table. I would not be surprised that he would publicly try to accept an offer for an AJ fight or talk about AJ in some way to get a fight but Hearn is gonna freeze him and Finkel out intentionally just to **** with both of them.

Wilder has to be smart and fight someone whom he can knock out spectacularly to get his confidence back, and the confidence of the public. He can fight Fury now, but what is the point. After one tuneup against a guy he knocks out easily, he should fight Ruiz and see what happens. If he knocks out Ruiz no one will be able to ignore him,and the winner of Fury/Joshua will be an interesting fight for him. If he fights Fury now no one will give him much a chance. He lost easily the last time and he will be seen as not really recovered from the loss and that will be the reason he lost the third fight.

Its all about money. He can make the most money getting his ass kicked in Fury v Wilder III. If he takes fights before Fury v Wilder III there is a chance he could be injured and miss out on the big payday for his a$$kicking

I see that, but at this point fighting at tuneup and then Ruiz helps his legacy, which would be much better if he found a way to prolong his career and not have two losses in a row against Fury.

If he fights a tune-up, he loses the rematch clause which is the only reason 3 is happening. He must take the immediate rematch and pull off the upswt, or just take the money and beating and walk away.

I think that (maybe) Wilder and (definitely) Wilders handlers understand that he is a limited one trick pony, and that they better make big paydays while they can. Also, the guy is 35. Lots of ATG boxers have been washed up at that age, let alone Wilder level guys.

I think Wilder would retire if as expected he loses aginst Fury again.

The AJ super fight will be gone (not that they've any intention of making the AJ fight). Plus Wilders planned cherry pick opponent in Kownacki just lost in a upset.

Ruiz and Martin are too tough of fights that Wilder would likely lose and there won't be much money in those fights.
