Except Tyson destroyed Spinks in the first round while Wilder knocked Fury down twice. He’s the biggest puncher ever and still has a legitimate chance to beat Fury. Just because Wilder lost 1 fight doesn’t mean he should retire you clown. Wilder still beats any other heavyweight in the division. You wanting him to retire because you have no respect for him is a personal issue.

Hmm I see what you mean but..it's not as simple as that.

    There's a loss.
    And there is a beatdown.

    Fight one was a loss.
    Second was a beatdown.
Third will be a bigger beatdown.

    So?
No he isn't, that's media hype
    No he doesn't.
Losing two consecutive fights (because he will lose the rematch) is actually a very good reason to retire
We'll never know because he'll never fight them
I don't want him to retire. I want to see his ass get beat up and all his delusional fanboys to see that the emperor has no clothes. I'm saying he should retire because it's the best option for him

My guess is yea , I mean he used a costume excuse in losing this isn’t a strong mentality for a fighter. Without a belt he will be lost so I can’t see someone like him advancing in boxing ,he’s a very egotistical person .

You think Wilder is the "biggest puncher ever," and have the nerve to call someone else a clown?

Anyone can look like a huge puncher against part-time fighters and physically ill. Wilder's camp was the first in history looking for the medically unfit, the morbidly obese, those with high blood pressure, etc. they thought they had a gold mine in Fury, and Fury still took Wilder's best when he was at his worst.

Wilder is a GOOD puncher, nothing more. He is not Ernie Shavers...he isn't even Gerry Cooney. He also has no skill whatsover to speak of, and no path to beating Fury. The guy who just lost 150 pounds and decided Wilder was so poor that he could still jump in the ring with him is gone, replaced by the rebuilt, retooled Fury we have today.

    Sorry.

Agreed, Szpilka is fairly chinny and he took Wilder's right hand flush multiple times with little effect. Wilder does have explosive power but part of the devastating effect is the speed in which he can hit his opponent when their chin is exposed. When Szpilka's chin was not exposed, he took Wilder's right hand just fine.

Now that his glass jaw has been exposed, Wilder is going to get starched with some regularity after he's knocked out again by Fury in the rematch.

No, what else is he going to do to make this kind of money?

you know he’ll keep fighting, regardless of how bad he gets trashed again by fury

Wilder is exactly what many of us said he was years ago - Michael Grant 2.0.

I expect him to get taken out by Fury again and then go on to long career as cannon fodder for up and comers.

I hope not because I would like to see Joshua and Wilder go at it. That'll sell really well even if Wilder loses to Fury.

Michael Grant had way more technique than Wilder does. The Grant comparisons are unfair to Grant

I think he fights on regardless. Boxers who rely heavily on athletic prowess tend to decline very sharply and he has little by the way of ring craft to make up for that deficit. He's probably only got another two years tops before physical decline impacts on timing and speed, so he will cash in while he can.

He can still earn decent coin vs the likes of Ruiz and..... yeah, three fights with Ruiz it is then.

You can't be serious. Joshua would at least box circles around Wilder and would possibly KO him. Wilder is not nearly as durable as Ruiz

I doubt it, he'd have to take one hell of a beating, we're talking like the one Golota gave Bowe for that to happen.

He likes the attention being a boxer at this level brings, plus he has expensive tastes and has several children to support, the alimony payments crippled Holyfield financially and saw him fight on longer than he should have. I suspect Wilder too will be forced to keep fighting well beyond his prime.

I like the idea now of wilder on Bambi legs getting beaten pillar to post as that white towel comes flying in and the excuses keep rolling. I‘ll never pay buy will enjoy it never the less. I personally don’t think the 3rd fight EVER happens, don’t care if it’s signed, wilder will cancel, 100%. He’s not mentally nor physically fit to want that again. It would have been great however to see about 7 seconds more as Fury was just sitting down in those punches with dip**** in the corner. He was about to be retired for good from those supposes pillow fists LOL. I dare wilder to step back in with fury and hopefully wilder has a better understanding with his team about going out on his shield. I’d like to see it after all the stupid, ignorant bullish-t that’s come out of this morons mouth.
