If Wilder gets to 40-0, that'll put him #3 all-time behind Holmes (48-0) and Rocky (49-0)

As a side note, Puritty was a football player, too. That's why I compared them.

It wasn't much of a win, Liakhovich was shot at the point. I don't count Mercer as a win for Wladimir because he was finished at that point too. And Liakhovich couldn't carry Mercer's jockstrap.

Well, he was dangerous to cruiserweights in the first five rounds. AND WLAD.

And I would've taken any version of Wlad over Corrie Sanders, until they actually fought.

Wlad was literally the only rated heavyweight Sanders ever beat.

Duhaupas went almost 12 rounds with Wilder without going down and busted him up good despite the lopsided nature of the fight. He wouldn't have anywhere near that kind of success against Wlad and I'd be surprised if he lasted 6 rounds.

Did you actually think you were being clever stopping at 44 in regards to Joe’s record? Lol

Duhaupas would have been lit up like a bonfire by Sanders. He does literally nothing better than Sanders except eat punches better. He'd have been an early casualty. Anything Sanders found easy to hit - and anything without power to return fire, especially - was usually roadkill.

Duhaupas vs Wlad would have been a career-ending beating because Wlad was cautious to an extreme and would have let it drag out to the late rounds. Probably in the 10th or thereabouts, after having had Duhaupas on the end of his jab and counter right the whole night, and looking like an extra from a horror movie, would Wlad do him a favour and put him out of his misery.

If Duhaupas could knock out Helenius, he could knock out Sanders.

    Nate Tubbs did.

I guess every HW has a puncher's chance ... even Duhaupas. I mean, he made Wilder look like he got mugged, after all.

And Wilder is a legitimate HW champion then is he?

Who has he beaten to achieve that status?

    Owned.

The comparison being Nielsen fought the same level of bums Wilder has been fighting To go 48-0, and that is why he gets no respect here.

I started watching boxing in 1975.

You've been watching Wilder longer than that?

    Alzheimer's is a terrible disease.

Can I change my vote for worst post of the day? It's still Monday where I live.

Go start some Brian Nielsen threads. I'm sure you'll get a lot of support.

So how did you watch Wilder in 1975?

You've got some spittle there on the side of your mouth, grandpa.

He hasn't faced anyone of note, aside from Bermaine. His murderers row of title defenses are really causing sleepless nights of everyone...
