Interesting, Wlad probs wins, Povetkin too.. If Parker handles Wilders power I'd back him too..

Do you think AJ would have been able to stay on his feet against Sconiers and Nichols???

Swap all their opponents, have Wilder fight AJs and AJ fight Wilders, and in my opinion the toughest matchup of the whole bunch is AJ vs Ortiz.

Im genuinely not sure if AJ beats the Ortiz that fought Wilder.

    Based on what?

What has ortiz ever done apart from give deontay a tough fight (which he's far from the only person to do)

Wlad and Povetkin both definitely beat Wilder, Parker, Whyte and Takam give him really tough fights could go either way. Its hard with questions like this though, Wilder is just a baby hes learning as he goes we just need to see him with 1 top guy to see if his great power can hide his terrible Boxing smarts in the ring at the level where poor technicians usually get found out.

I dont pick fights just based solely on what each fighter has done.

Thats a flawed system *imo* and only matters to a certain extent.

Going by how I personally view/judge matchups, Ortiz is a worse matchup for AJ than he is for Wilder.

One of my reasons for thinking Ortiz is a bad matchup for AJ is that I dont think AJ is as defensive minded, is as rangey, or as elusive, as Wilder had to be in order to get to Ortiz late. I dont think AJ can take what Ortiz would dish out... and unlike Wilder, who was lucky the ref didn't stop the fight (not that I think he should, but many fights have been called off for less) I think AJ will be easier to find, easier to pin down, ect.

    Again... thats just imo though.

Povetkin and Wlad were and still are more dangerous than Ortiz. And the Ortiz Wilder fight was nearly called off due to Ortiz not really being healthy on the night.

Thats your view... not mine. I would pick that Ortiz to beat both Wlad and Povetkin.

Personally I think Joshua runs ortiz over

I'm basing that on the Jennings fight in which Jennings at times went to war with ortiz and had success.

Ironically i think ortiz has a better chance if AJ tries to box cagey on the backfoot.

If joshua comes forward and unloads the kitchen sink i think he gets rid of ortiz very early.

I do, AJ would man handle Ortiz, and would not get put on ***** street in the process.

Again though he could let ortiz into the fight if he does the whole backfoot thing.
