If Wilder had Mayweather boxing tecnnique and ring IQ?

    Wilder's boxing technique is amateurish, hands down, chin up, wide punches, and too many mistakes in the ring. But he has height and reach which helps him.

    If Wilder had Mayweathers Philly shell technique and ring iq, Do you think Wilder would be unstoppable? His current style will get him caught at some point when he faces live body.

    Even i'm not a coach, I can see that Wilder has some serious flaws in his technique. He doesn't use his height and reach as well as he could.

    Alien is correct stupid point really.. like saying if Amir Khan had a granite chin and Wilders power .... Or If I had Golovkins variety of punches, Ali's footwork, Sugar Rays handspeed ....... pointless !

    He'd be goddamn scary that's for sure. I reckon heavyweights would be clamouring for a "Super Long Weight" division where everybody above 6'5 has to belong. Or they'd be regulars at the local salad bar, slimming for Cruiser ;)

    That's the thing about Wilder - he has all the dimensions to be great. He can hit damn hard and if he had actual skills he'd be scary. He is getting better ... slowly ... really slowly. Which means we will see Wilder vs Holmes next year, no doubt.

    Why Mayweather ? Do u enjoy watching boring heavyweights? I'd rather see Wilder with a Ray Leonard skillset and IQ.
