This is like saying if I had Usain Bolt's super fast twitch fibers I could break the 100m world record. There's as much chance of me suddenly developing his physiognomy as there is Wilder learning to be a boxer. He's an athlete who punches hard. Very low talent rating, simpleton ring IQ, legs like a chicken on a diet.

I can see the training session now:

'OK Deontay use the shoulder roll as I taught you...'
    *30 seconds later*
'Are you ok, can you get up? Can someone call an ambulance...'

In fact fvck Wilder, he brings nothing to the table other than power. Just a heavyweight Ray Leonard will do.

Even Mayweather got caught now and again, such as the fights with Judah, Mosley etc. Even if Wilder had the technique and skill to fight like a heavyweight version of Floyd it doesn't mean he'd choose to fight like that all the time. Fact is he can box better when he wants to like against Stiverne and Arreola where he chose to box more but then in fights against the likes of Molina he chose to engage more leaving himself exposed and vulnerable.

Personally I hate these hypothetical type of threads they are pointless. Wilder is who he is no amount of wishing will change that.
