The actual funny thing about that fight was Wilder admitted they wanted a weaker guy than Washington, what HW champion does that? They said we are getting a better fight now when Wawrzyk was cancelled..... in short he was deliberatly given us the fans a bullshyte fight for the apparent reason a HURT hand that was obviously not injured to have him him make such a spectacle of placing a NON top ten guy ( Washington) and having the WBc put him in there to justify the pick... ....? lol
Hair on your ass? Bruuuuuuuuuuuuuuh! Duhaupus trained like an animal for Wilder. Headvetkin didn't have a fight and Duhaupus needed a check and took a dive. Lol
Yes and coming out of the Klitchko camp i would actually like to see a rematch down the line,he made major mistakes in that fight that he would correct on.
I would like to see him in a grudge match with Dominic Breazeale, his Dillian Whyte. I think Breazeale would have a good chance to beat him and the huge difference in skill level between Wilder and Anthony Joshua would be obvious.
Oh, so Duhaupas having animal characteristics is good, but my hairy ass is bad? Don't make me call your mom. 1) Povetkin had a big haircut and his head is almost normal now. Hater. 2) Duhaupas was extremely confident after being so competitive with Wilder and thought he could do the same with Povetkin Big mistake!
The thing is Wilder never fought an equally athletic same size guy before( Washingtons actually much more athletic) the long jab and movement had to actually make Wilder think and slowly get closer...a true experianced less stiff fighter who knows how to jab or stiff arm push to the body will knock wilder off balance with his wide stance, ive seen a few fights wilder getting knocked back from just a straight jab.Thats not to say hes not a top fighter ,he is but hasnt fought anyone to take advantage of these flaws. Stivern is pure mismatch and Parker gets hit to easy and has overated power. I believe Ortiz/Whyte / Breazeale /Haye ( IF he gets it together) all pose upset possibilites .Even a aggressive Izu could be a danger,a fast starter if lands the same shots he landed on Breazeale its night night.Thats 5 guys right here.Instead he will go for Stivern or Bellew im assuming. Wlad and Joshua win hands down.
Duhaupus wasn't confident. He knew Headvetkin was using PEDs and in shape while he came in with a pot roast in his pot belly lol...
Duhaupas looked about the same to me as he did against Wilder. Granted a proper camp is much better, but he didn't look that out of shape.
I don't think he would fight Whyte or Haye, never mind Ortiz before the fight with AJ because he doesn't want to risk losing his belt but i could see him taking a fight with Breazeale and he would be his best opponent after 38 fights, kind of laughable.
Can't believe nobody is interested in sourcing the Sconiers tape: https://www.boxingforum24.com/threads/sconiers-selling-his-fight-with-wilder-for-20.588391/
No he didn't lmao. You didn't see the fight, lmao. Duhaupus looked like a pot bellied slob. He didn't even show any offense.
Breazeale would be his best option only bc hes slow and very hittable .Breazeale would need to be the shape he was in for Joshua,he was overweight against Izu,im not sure why? I guess the more weight manipulated the fight where he wear out Izu but he really needs to fight at a lower weight than 260 bc hes not a Foreman chin who cant be budged, the weight worked for Foreman and bc he had that jab .Breazeale is tough but he also needs a bit more accuracy and speed ,he wont get that at 260.
