If Wilder loses to Fury, potentially twice, would he start over???

Would the AJ fight still come to fruition??? I don't think so, far too much risk for AJ

Considering Wilder clearly does have a game changer of a right hand, how would he rebuild??

I actually think he would retire, but if he went away and bettered himself with technique, broadened his skill-set and showed improvement, he'd be far more fan friendly a second time around.

Love to hear some opinions on the question as I see it as a distinct possibility.

What would Fury do if he doesn’t get up from 1 of Wilder’s bombs? Retire or go back to drinking? Idk, what do you think, would love to hear what you have to say about this likely possibility that Fury will lose (again)

Nah, he'd pack it in IMO. He's a mental midget.

So my first response was an effort to derail..... speaks volumes but nevertheless I will move forward.

As I'm a gent and not an ass, here is my answer to your question.

I think Fury would beg for an AJ fight as a last hoorah and retire, and he would likely get the AJ fight too. Tons of cash to be made there.
If no AJ then he would retire from the embarrassment of his losses.

I'd still like to hear your opinion on the topic matter of this thread if you care to contribute?
EDIT - Actually, scrap that, I only just noticed you say Fury would lose again??... You're clearly a troll or a moron so your opinion, although you're entitled to it, would mean sweet **** all, but we all enjoy a good giggle so crack on if you need to.

If Wilder loses decisively by decision and they don't fight again, he'll keep going and just believe he won the first and then got out hustled but not damaged, so he'll believe he won overall.

If Wilder loses by KO it could truly affect his confidence and possibly make him gun shy, which might get him beaten more easily afterwards. He'll probably continue but might not go on for long.

If Fury get's KO'd, he could definitely quit boxing and destroy himself, as he's built a lot of his identity around boxing supremacy and who knows how he'd take that. Even normal fighters suffer depression from KO's, so you'd have to expect Fury to have an extreme reaction. But who knows.

lol, don’t worry, it’s no point to try to explain boxing to someone that has a Fury crush, good luck living in fantasy land.

I tend to think when a fighter loses it reveals how quick some fans give up, not the fighter themselves. Or how bias we can be -depending on who gets schooled. Until he retires he will always have the greatest of a puncher's chance to win.

If he loses a decision, I suspect he'll shrug it off as no big deal. He'll try to say that he's a warrior he only fights for KOs, Fury wouldn't stand and fight, etc. Then he'll go back to fighting bums and pick up a belt.
If he gets battered, then he'll have a few fights against bums until one of the bums actually wins with a KO then he'll quietly retire.

If Fury loses. I suspect he goes on to being a celebrity doing reality shows and WWE.

If Fury loses he won't be lineal 'champion' anymore and WWE wouldn't be interested.

If he does pack it up it would probably be because he is approaching retirement age, not because Fury beat him.

Its not like he never lost a fight to someone before..: and losing to Fury at least in his eyes is no shame.

Thing is, no matter what happens he knows that he can and likely will hurt Fury within 12 rounds... so he will always feel like it could have gone the other way.

we should be more scared for Fury here because Wilder cam bang and only needs one shot, whereas Fury doesnt seem to bother Wilder much with anything thrown back

Lol, so anyone who mentions Wilder in a thread automatically has a crush on the opposing boxer? And you say I'm the one in fantasy land???

    Yeah, great work buddy!

The fight probably isn't going to a war
It's likely one these scenarios for me:

Fury outboxes Wilder for 12 - In which case there will be an excuse and a 3rd fight. - "I wasn't right on the night", "i pulled a muscle", "i was ill"
Fury outboxes Wilder , but Wilder lands the bomb to stop Fury - in Which case there will be an excuse and a 3rd fight. "He got lucky"
Wilder lands the bomb early - I reckon Fury retires - the AJ fight might be there still but depending on the route AJ takes he might freeze Fury out or tries to age him out at least.

Only so many excuses a fighter can make before reality sets in and if Fury can't get past Wilder his ego takes a huge hit

As for Wilder I think he might come back especially if they are decision losses or close I think he would always fancy his chances Vs AJ that said I reckon we might see him decline a little in the next year to 18 months.
