Every fighter will know if you take it to him and crack that china it will crumble.....once he's been ko'd the bubble wil be burst! And if he somehow gets past stiverne he cant go back to fighting bums so in some ways this shot despite being unwarranted means he has stepped up for good......can't scam the fans any longer. ...
He'll drop from most rankings which is good, everyone will know he's a hype job with a glass jaw. He'll either run with Al Haymon to NBC or start building up again fighting bums.
Watch the fight closely, I'm not too familiar with stiverne not sure if he can be bought out like malik scott was.
Spot on with my opinion...though I think Wilder 's KO percentage will still be appealing to the average boxing fan and we could see him make a run on tomato cans in his comeback and eventually become another scalp for one of the (future) champs.:good
Exactly. Assuming everything is on the level, this about as close to a sure thing as it gets in boxing. All the signs are there that Wilder's suspect chin will be BRUTALLY exposed.
I have a feeling Wilders getting koed jelly legs style. Banks took out that hypejob Mitchell in 2 rounds. Mitchell feasted on bums up until that point.
Not true. Michael Grant cracked vs Golota, but somehow pulled it off due to Golota being Golota. Then he proceded to be cracked by Lewis and McCline but he came back. Was cracked again against a dedicated non-pothead version of Guinn, but he came back stronger after that loss then he had earlier in his career. A KO loss for Wilder is not the end. He can go back to playing it safe on the fringe, and get title shots by remaining active.
Witherspoon and Ibragimov are not even close to being bums. Fringe contenders maybe???? But you gotta give them credit for NEVER having lost to a journeyman like Hawkins, Gavern, Firtha etc. They beat every other fringe contender and every journeyman and BUM they fought. Much the same as Joe Louis during his entire career. :huh
