Deontay gets a lot of criticism on ESB, but if he stops AJ will he get his credit?

No, he didn’t give 12 weeks to prepare. He will get no credit

    How can he not really?

Even as a Brit I personally cannot wait to log in the morning after AJ is giving the oxygen mask in the corner treatment.

Being an AJ fan, I have to say yes. People are saying how dangerous Wilder is to AJ, but it's the same the other way.

Not really. Joshua is very green and has poor stamina, so I think Joshua getting knocked out is to be expected, since Joshua is tailormaide for him.

Beating an active and inshape Fury would be far more impressive, since Fury has a good jab, good handspeed, head movement, and is good at adapting in the ring.

I would certainly give him a lot of credibility, credit, clout, etc

Given his “style” and how lost he seemed lost and ineffective in the early rounds versus Ortiz, if he were to meet and beat AJ, .....Yes, that would be a very impressive way of using a weak, reckless style to overcome the best in the division

Joshua is green. Joshua only has 21 pro fights and didn't have an extensive amateur career despite winning gold. As talented as Joshua is some things can only be learned with ring experience.

If Joshua were more experienced he would've easily crushed Takam and Post retirement Wlad, but both Takam and Wlad exploited Joshua's inexperience to give him tough fights.

We'll have to wait and see what actually happens in a Joshua-Wilder clash, but I'd still prefer Joshua having 24-25 fights under his belt before fighting Wilder.

    I sincerely doubt it.

Once folks on this forum decide to slag on someone, that someone can never get out from beneath the contempt. Seen it with RJJ, FMJ, GGG, Canelo and the Klitchs.

I’ve never bought into that argument about more fights means you’re more experienced, regardless (I’m assuming that’s your argument).

In some cases it’s simply about your experience at a particular level, and when Joshua and Wilder fight, I feel that Joshua has the most experience at that level.

If Wilder gets a win he deserves huge credit.
