It'd be a good fight for wilder financially but it's still a **** fight. I wouldn't give wilder much credit for taking the fight in boxing terms but if it helps build his name up with the casuals over here leading to a Joshua fight I'm OK with it. IF.
Not quite sold on bellow, his victory over a one legged Haye is overrated Sent from my SM-G925W8 using Tapatalk
Wilders opponents have a second job starring in the walking dead, so Bellew is a step up to a live body.
It's a good financial move in my opinion. It would give him the name he needs in british boxing to then fight Joshua. Personally though it's the easiest fight for him. I worry for Bellew fighting these big heavyweights. He's only a pumped up light heavyweight-cruiserweight.
Big safe pay day for Wilder with global exposure and no downside. The circus atmosphere from two trash talkers will be more exciting for what would be a dull fight.
Agreed, there shouldn't be much credit for beating Bellew. Bellew is not a top 10 HW, and I say this even though there is talk of him facing my boy Parker. But it is a good payday for someone and a good introduction to the UK market, so I wouldn't mind if Parker-Bellew was made. The Brits think Bellew is one of the top HWs lol, would be fun to see them disabused of that notion whether by Wilder or Parker.
would be a great business move for wilder and showtime here...as they could really build joshua/wilder up with this one...makes alot of sense
As much as I would prefer Wilder v Parker, I've got to admit it would be hard to turn down a huge payday fight that would lead to another huge payday fight when you are almost guaranteed a win and when he has a big hame on his ledger. I don't want it, but would blame him and his team less for this than for other decisions they made to avoid a live body.
forget wlad. wilder vs wlad wont happen and nowone should even wanna see it at this point. but wilder vs bellew would be fun in england. but now is not the time. wilder vs joshua or ortiz is the fight that needs to get made.
