And yet he wonders why he's not well known in his own country. You can't get mainstream big Mike Tyson famous by fighting the likes of Dustin Nichols & Sconiers' of the world. The dude has been on the ganja too hard!
True, but I think Klitschko would've knocked him out. Certainly Wilder would've been the clear underdog. This way he may well end up better off: - Fury outboxed Klitschko and Wilder will KO this version of Fury later this year. - Joshua caught Klitschko at the right time and Wilder might just have the style to KO Joshua ...
It's true, that was the point of my thread the other day. If he is that confident in his abilities why did he not start taking on bigger fights sooner, great champions have retired with wonderful resumes in a lot less fights than wilder has. That's what is bugging me about all the aj hate from the wilder fans. Joshua has already achieved alot more in half the time and took on wlad after 19.
Wlad was bribed by AJ and Matchroom to take a dive. Watch his reaction when he accidentally drops Joshua. Instead of pouncing and finishing him he just let's him recover for a few rounds before AJ 'stops' him.
Wilder won his belt Jan 2015.. Tyson Fury was Klitschkos WBO mandatory in 2015 and they fought Nov. 2015.. WK lost.. The IBF stripped Fury because he was gonna rematch WK.. Fury pulls out of the rematch and was stripped by the WBA and The WBO.. Charles Martin wins the IBF due to his opponent injury during the fight.. Eddie pays Martin $5 millions to come to the UK to fight Joshua(Eddie admitted he wasn’t ready for Joshua to fight for a title but the easy opportunity presented itself) AJ wins the IBF.. The WBA makes WK and AJ #1 and #2 in their rankings for the vacant belt.. They fight for the unified title AJ wins WK retires.. I said all that to say the time frames unfortunately doesn’t add up for that fight to ever be possible.. WK was ready to fight for undisputed after the Fury fight but he lost..
