Pulev does what he always did against Wlad, take centre ring and occasionally bounce on his toes but not actually move anywhere. Pulev has terrible movement. The fact Wlad was able to leap in with the left hook and land was because Pulev is so stationary. He was perhaps a bit more aggressive, probably thought he needed to be to get to the bigger man.

Even in the fights with Ustinov and Dimitrenko he doesn't show good movement. Sure he occasionally skips back from the rare attack but a lot of the time he's just right there planted in the middle of the ring in front of his opponent. Ustinov and Dimitrenko being such tall fighters never really applied any pressure they stand at range and throw they don't force you to move much. Neither of those fighters are the kind of fighter that will test your agility. Pulev for me has never shown anything like good movement, he's too planted most of the time and shows very little lateral movement.
