    No way lol

If wilder abused drugs and drinks gained weight had depression he would of fought even lower level bums for at least 5 years before fighting anyone in top 20

Fury would be taking on the wbc champion in his 3rd fight coming back of a 3 year lay off in which he abused drugs and drinks never trained at all had depression

Fury is a man what a man

Furyis dumb to fight Wilder so soon because he's still as rusty as hell and he's going to get slept. I'll cheer for him, but I don't expect him to win.

Are you going to claim to be ringside again for a big fight like Fury v Wilder, while at the same time posting on the RBR thread during the fight BM lol...

I couldn't believe it myself im one of the biggest fury fans here but this is not smart he will be giving wilder so many advantages he should of been looking at least at summer of 2019 for a big fight ideally end of 2019

The idea of a fat, rusty Fury coming off a 2 year coke binge schooling wilder is very alluring, it's too good to be true, Wilder will clip him at some point.

I have to agree, Wilder's career has been carefully managed. He won the title by beating a guy who's best win was Arreola. Let's not forget Adamek a former light heavy beat Arreola, Arreola was always a gate keeper.

Then every defence he's had since was almost always vs other Haymon fighters the only exception being the mandatory Stiverne and the late replacement Washington.

The one real risk he took was Ortiz, but lets be clear this was very much down to the pressure from the network they refused to show the Stiverne rematch and so they had to pay Stiverne step aside money so they could make the Ortiz fight. But of course even choosing Ortiz was a calculated risk. Haymon signed Ortiz before allowing him a shot at Wilder and Ortiz hadn't looked good in recent fights and was on meds for high blood pressure which will effect athletic performance.

Even this fight vs Fury is again a very savvy calculated risk. They know Fury looked awful in his return and are trying to catch him before he, 1 either gets rid of that ring rust or 2 is exposed as being a shadow or his former self by another fighter. Had Fury looked in shape and impressive I doubt they would be interested in a fight with Fury.

Lol fair enough, so you'll be ringside for GGG/Canelo II and Wilder/Fury in Vegas if it happens?

I'm not a fan of either of them but I kind of hope so too. You have to admire Fury for having the balls to even contemplate fighting such a dangerous fight so soon, when he's looked so bad.

I'm wondering if he's looked much better in the gym and this is why they are taking this audacious move. The Pianeta fight now is a must watch fight to see if he looks better and looks more like his old self.

But then again this is yet to be made official, so it could just be another PR stunt. If it is I give him props for that too, because everyone is talking about it, lol.

No he wouldnt. We can argue about how good or bad Wilder may be but there is no arguing his resume and his teams calcutated decisions on who to fight and when. Ortiz nor Fury will be able to of claimed they were in the best condition they could of been when facing Wilder. We know about Ortiz and being advised to pull out of the fight because of his condition and theres no chance Fury is going to be back to anywhere near his best by the end of this year.

But then can we say no other fighters would of taken this kind of oppertunity to beat a big name who wasnt in the best condition to fight? I think loads would of, the medical state of a fighter doesnt go next to the Win Lose bit on Boxrec, just the result.. But plenty wouldnt of too. Joshua told him to get himself fit and ready then they will talk.

What would people of been saying on here had Joshua fought Fury this year? It would of gone mental for the Joshua hate.

If Deontay did what Fury did you guys would not treat Wilder as a sympathetic figure like you do Fury. DW would be the worse human being in boxing so please stop these garbage threads because it only shows you’re afraid of your guy getting KTFO.

I'm sure he will get ktfo. Far too soon to take on Wilder.
