    I would be sad.

Unless it was to help poor people in Holland with no electricity by becoming a full time windmill for them.

If wilder retires a lot of other boxers who act questionably in dodging quality opposition will come under heat.

Wilder has lowered the bar so far and takes so much flak Here that when he goes someone will have to fill the void

I’d miss wilder but only due to not knowing what could have been in terms of just how good he really was

I wouldn't want him to retire today, because that would make him a constant goto guy for the "what if" threads. Even worse as that guy that fought Tua and got jailed.

Miss him? No. I don't even watch most of his fights because he's extremely annoying. But he shouldn't go now.

I would miss him, but it would also be fun to troll blizzy about.

That would be the only balancing factor.

I can just about sit through Windmiller dispatching another grossly overmatched, short notice, ill prepared, poorly paid, phoney ranked, supply teacher, French pastry chef, former NFL player, 254lb extra from the Blob, dragged from the alley wino but, if I have to sit through him screaming Buuuuuuuuuummmmmm Squuuuuaaaaaaddddd!!!! One more ****ing time along with the rest of the Bong Squad verbal diarrhoea, I'll fly over to Colombia to try and track down Pablo Escobar's missing millions, risking life and limb amongst the Cartels and Kidnap gangs in order to cobble together Windmillers retirement fund just to see the back of the delusional, disrespectful gobshite.

Just recently he's accused an entire nation of being racist and he's now calling AJ Anthony Juiceuah. By all account, AJ was tested 14 times in 12 weeks by 3 different anti doping agencies leading up to the WK fight. Windmillers already getting his excuses ready. Joshua best get his passport ready cuz i feel pretty sure that if there's any low balling, it will come from the douche bag collective that is called the Bong Squad.

I can see AJ calling Windmillers bluff and saying "cya in Vegas Wilder". At which point Beoncey will claim the 60/40 split that Joshua will reluctantly have to agree to is low balling and disrespectful, Joshua will be found to be 'pissing hot' with some banned yesterday food supplement and Windmiller will drag Stiverne back into the Barclay centre for the rubber match of the century,in front of a coach load of distant relatives from Alabama to finally cash out on a 900k payday. Yeah, of course I'll miss him

I want to see how good he really is before I know if I would miss him. At this point Joshua has proven more just on the Klitchko win.

Yes, he's a fun fighter who can be involved in great fights with AJ, Parker, Povetkin, Miller etc.

Ward and Wilder retiring in the same year? MVC needs to be put on suicide watch.

If Wilder were to retire today, it would be sad action, HW in nowadays is a "bog" where decent boxers can be counted on the fingers of one hand

There is no fighter that is currently active that
I would miss if they retire. No one is on that
    level.

Not certain if this is a troll attempt or serious question
    but either way /thread

Yes. He's comedy gold in a laughing at him, not with him kind of way.

His lack of technique, dress sense, grammar and ability to speak like a grown up are kind of fun.

So when he retires I definitely won't feel like I did with Ward (so pleased that the nutcracker was gone)

I don't miss him even when he's active
