Great post, I think the guys who are fair and try to remain objective will give Wilder his dues but the ones who just are content on dissing Wilder will move the goal post as usual. This is a good fight and people should be happy two top guys are squaring off rather than tryna downplay the match up.

No. When Wilder fights a prime, dangerous heavyweight he'll deserve credit.

But Luis Ortiz is an old man who takes medicine for high blood pressure. Wilder has avoided him in the past, but now Ortiz has had a year of inactivity and is another year or two older, so Deontay will finally face him as long as he has home advantage.

Anthony Joshua is younger and has been a pro for four years less, but already has a much better resume than the very protected Wilder, and will fight a PRIME heavyweight titleholder next, rather than an old man who never had a belt.

Lol Ortiz would school that garbage boy Parker who even lost his fight against Hughie and Ruiz JR. Casual AJ's dickriders. Ortiz was dominant in his every fight. Parker looked like a novice bum who lost more than 5 rounds

Lol Ortiz would beat every Parker opponent and Parker too. Parker arguably lost to a inactive prospect in Hughie Fury, yes he is a title holder but he is the weakest title holder atm.

Parker has defended his title against prime undefeated heavyweights like Ruiz and Fury, and decent heavyweights like Takam.

Wilder only fights old men (Ortiz) shot fighters (Arreola) and chinny journeymen (Szpilka).

    I guess so... yeah.

But it is still going in the list that he beat a near 40-50 year old heart patient, and if he gets knocked down or rocked, I'll gladly list that too.

And avenge your match with Romanov and Nichols too

Yes I will give him credit* he will have his first win against a top 10 HW.

That will be something for him.

*Assuming there is nothing fishy going on during the win. Either a dive or a dodgy points decision in Wilders favour.

    Yeah, I will.

For the first time, he's fighting a serious man in a title defence.

    That's good.

Ortiz isnt allowed his heart medication, this fight is already unfair as the man will be handicapped.

True but a lot of guys clown Wilder so it was more to see if they would lay off him.

Agreed, I think Wilder or Ortiz could win on points too. It's hard to predict when two big punchers fight especially when it's their hardest fights
