Agree with all the above. Deontay Wilder could dare to be great -- and he should, if he really is even half as great as he claims he is -- but is seemingly too content to be mollycoddled and milk defences of the WBC Heavyweight title against the Szpikas, Arreolas and the Washingtons of the division. At this point, I'm half-expecting Wilder to offer WBC Light Heavyweight champion Adonis Stevenson a shot at his title in a voluntary defence.

If Wilder had the guts to give my man Nichols a proper 6 week camp with access to a 7 course eat all you want buffet to get up to his proper fighting weight, say 500lbs or so, he would have been massacred. Wilder always springs short camps on his opponents

There appears to be alot of jealousy towards Mr Wilder on this forum. Jealous that the bronze bomber has beaten every man, animal and woman put in front of him. Make no mistake, Deontay will still be the wbc champion for the next 10 years.

 

Wilder was arrested last night for possession, he's not clean. Bud squad has anxiety I guess over the prospect of having to face Stiverne again, or a live body.
