pavlik needs to get rid of that YMCA trainer.

He could and should have gotten better after the Taylor thrashing a couple of years back.

Boxing is an unforgiving sport. One year you're on top and the next you're down and out.

I'll say this. Pavlik of 2 years ago DESTROYS any version of Pdub.

That hit the nail on the head.

Lowe as a trainer holds as much ground as a father volunteering to coach a childrens soccer team.:deal

Sounds good in theory, but in theory, Pavlik was picked to brutalize an old Hopkins and knock out Martinez. That's question mark now with Pavlik, would he actually be able to use his supposed advantages against an elite opponent? I will reserve judgement until he does it again, he hasn't done it since Taylor.

Let's drop Jack Leow and try some other trainers.

Emmanual Steward: This is the guy who said KP wouldn't last two rounds with Taylor, and also said Andy Lee would beat Kelly by the end of 2008. Ya -- that's exactly the guy I'd want if I were Kelly.

How about Freddie Roach? This is the guy who said BHop's life was in danger fighting KP. Sounds like Freddie knows exactly what he's talking about -- doesn't it:patsch

Let's try Pat Burns; Burns is the cat who tried to turn Duddy into a slick boxer at 154. Considering that John immediately lost to Jack Leow's fighter Billy Lyell, I wouldn't reccomend this particular change.

Nazim Richardson; okay, I like Nazim, but it was brother Nazim who said of KP, "I wouldn't change much. Clean up his foot work and tighten up his defense, other than that, I wouldn't change anything."

The simple fact is, those who scream for Pavlik to drop Leow know ****-all. It's almost like these guys plug their freaking ears when the camera cuts to Kelly's corner. The bottom line is, when Pavlik does exactly what Leow tells him to he wins, and wins big. When he ignores Jack he struggles or loses.

How was he winning the fight until the cut? You are a joke. What round was the cut again? Round 10? He lost the first 4 and every round outside 5-8.

Pavlik does what he does.. What Jack Lowe tells him to do has nothing to do with Pavlik winning...

In the second Taylor fight Miguel Diaz had to tell Pavlik what to do towards the end of the fight because Jack Lowe was sitting there clueless.

It's not uncommon for Diaz to give Kelly instructions, nor is it unusual for Diaz and Leow to converse a lot during rounds. Diaz was in KP's corner for his debut pro fight, and Kelly has rarely fought without him. So, your post is both pointless and wrong.

Can't argue with you there. Pavlik definitely has a lot to prove. However, I think Williams is a good opponent for him.

Whatever man, everything that Pavlik thinks is right...you seem to think is right.

    Jack Lowe is ass.

Regardless, Pavlik needs a change for the sake of change. Sometimes it just takes a change of scenery to get someone back on track. If that means Jack Loew has to go, then so be it.

Pavlik, would have beat Williams, Paul is fast and big, but he goes straight at you and you can not do that with Kelly at 160.

    This it true.

    Proven what point????

You still try to claim Pavlik was sick for the B Hop fight...you even till this day claim that the Pavlik in the B hop fight would have lost against espino and Rubio.... Pavlik got his ass kicked plain and simple and Jack Lowe couldnt come up with nothing except "Double Dat ****ing Jab baby".

I really dont see how you can say Lowe is a better choice for Pav then Roach, Steward or Richardson.

Dont get me wrong, I give Lowe credit for Getting Kelly to where he is, but Lowe has not proven to be that great for Kelly when facing elite opposition, and lately Pavlik has been going down hill very fast.

Still wouldn't be surprised to see Pavlik (if he can make 160lbs in healthy fashion) stop Williams brutally. Williams' defense is atrocious. He can't dodge a punch for the life of him, and I can see him eating some monster rights in this one.
